His wife, Melania, celebrated the event by posting on X, happily sharing a moment when their son Barron voted for the first time.
Recently, when he attended his grandmother's funeral in Palm Beach, he caught the public's attention. Standing at six feet seven inches, he was significantly taller than everyone else, making him the tallest member of the Trump family.
Barron, Donald Trump’s youngest child, was born to him and Melania on March 20, 2006. Interestingly, Donald personally picked Barron’s name. During an episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show, he mentioned that he had always liked the name but was unsure about using it. When he proposed it to Melania, he almost decided to take it back at the last moment, but Melania was adamant, saying, “You can’t take it away! I’ve been calling him Barron since I was pregnant, and you can’t just change that!” Barron began his schooling at Columbia Grammar & Preparatory School in New York before moving to St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Potomac, Maryland. When Trump became president in January 2017, Barron and Melania remained in Manhattan so Barron could finish his school year. Reports indicate that Barron was reluctant to leave his life in New York to join his family at the White House. In 2021, as his father’s term was concluding, Barron enrolled at Oxbridge Academy in Palm Beach, Florida, and he graduated with the class of 2024.
During his father Donald Trump's presidency, Barron largely avoided the public eye while his siblings took on more visible roles. However, in July 2024, he made a notable appearance with his dad at an election rally. According to ABC News, Barron, who is now a freshman at NYU’s Stern School of Business, has helped his 78-year-old father explore the podcasting world. This shift from conventional campaign tactics and television appearances to a focus on podcasts has enabled Trump to better engage with younger voters.
