Banksy reveals second animal artwork within 24 hours in London

Banksy has revealed his second animal-themed artwork in one day, featuring two elephants reaching out to each other through barred windows.

The artist confirmed his most recent creation in a post on Instagram on Tuesday. The mural was painted onto the side of a residence in the Chelsea area of south-west London.

He shared a new artwork on Monday showing a goat sitting on a wall by Kew Bridge in Richmond upon Thames. The picture shows the outline of a goat on a ledge with rocks dropping beneath it and a surveillance camera aimed at the animal.

Banksy didn't say anything about his social media posts, so people started coming up with ideas about what they could mean. Some people thought it might be about the possibility of all living things dying out, while others thought it could be about not having any privacy.

The two art pieces in London are based on the artist's migrant boat project, which was displayed at Glastonbury in June.

The ex-home secretary James Cleverly called the stunt "trivializing" small boat crossings and "disgusting", but the artist disagreed and said that his reaction was "excessive".

During the month of March, the street artist Banksy made a tree painting on a wall in northern London. The mural showed a tree with its branches cut back and green paint sprayed around it to make it look like leaves. The green paint used matched the color of the street signs belonging to Islington council in that neighborhood.

Banksy, a well-known street artist, creates artwork that often includes messages about politics and society. His pieces can be found in public locations all around the world. Despite his popularity, Banksy's true identity remains a mystery.
