The latest episode that aired on October 18th showcased moments of chocolate melting, numerous humorous references to nuts, and an unexpected departure from a contestant due to illness, resulting in the absence of any elimination for the night.

The show started with the traditional Signature challenge, where judges Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood asked the remaining contestants to create their version of a chocolate torte.

Rowan did a great job in the Signature round, as Paul complimented his mocha torte saying it looked "beautiful". However, Prue criticized Cirsty's almond, chocolate and cherry torte saying it lacked flavor.

The following challenge was quite demanding in its technicality. The participants were tasked with making eight cheesecakes, each of which required a blackcurrant compote and white chocolate coating.

In the Technical challenge, Dan achieved the top score according to Prue. She stated that his cheesecakes were the only ones that were deemed "perfect". However, Saku and Cristy faced difficulties and were placed at the bottom of the rankings.

Regrettably, Tasha had to depart from Chocolate Week prematurely due to getting sick while in the Technical portion. She plans on coming back to the contest next week.

Nevertheless, in that specific moment of the show, Paul exposed that he and Prue were still contemplating on eliminating a participant, where Saku and Cristy were at risk.

During the Showstopper challenge, the bakers were required to make a chocolate cake box that is edible along with a diverse range of handmade chocolates.

The last test was too difficult for the competitors and numerous bakers had a tough time making their own unique designs. Josh had to re-do his chocolate panels due to the fact that they didn't harden properly. Meanwhile, Rowan's errors during his presentation led to him losing the opportunity to win the title of Star Baker.

Recently, there has been a lot of discussion surrounding the partnership between Love Productions and Channel 4. Love Productions is a company that specializes in producing popular television shows, and they have had a long-standing relationship with the BBC. However, in 2016, Love Productions made the decision to switch gears and form a partnership with Channel 4. This move caused a lot of controversy and backlash from viewers who were upset that their favorite shows, such as The Great British Bake Off, would no longer be airing on the BBC. Despite the backlash, Love Productions and Channel 4 have continued their partnership and have produced several successful shows together. While some viewers may still be mourning the loss of their beloved BBC programs, many are excited to see what new and innovative content will come from this partnership.

The head of "Bake Off" has recently revealed that the show's format has been tweaked due to negative feedback from viewers. In the past, some have criticized the program for being too harsh and critical towards the contestants. Despite these modifications, "Bake Off" remains one of the most popular cooking shows on television today.

Saku had a hard time making different kinds of fillings for her chocolates. She expressed her frustration by saying, "I'm finished with chocolate! I never want to have it again."

When the episode wrapped up, the presenters Noel Fielding and Alison Hammond announced the conclusive outcome: Matty was named the Star Baker, and there won't be any elimination this week as Tasha couldn't participate due to her illness.

Paul expressed his dissatisfaction towards the departure of a contestant, stating that Pastry Week is going to be more challenging since two contestants will be eliminated.

The television program, The Great British Bake Off, is broadcasted on Channel 4 in the United Kingdom. Conversely, in the United States of America, it is called The Great British Baking Show and can be watched on the online streaming service, Netflix.
