Australia v Pakistan result: David Warner and Mitchell Marsh bring Australia's World Cup to life

Australia vs Pakistan

Australia Wins - Live Updates

Marsh And Warner Shine In The Limelight

Australia celebrated a huge record of 259 runs during their opening partnership in cricket. David Warner achieved his 21st ODI century, while it was Mitchell Marsh's birthday and he hit a century too, which made the occasion even more special. Australia was victorious in back-to-back matches and added more success to their achievements. Meanwhile, Pakistan faced consecutive defeats and were left disappointed.

What Warner and Marsh did was impeccable. It established the atmosphere we were striving for. This is the way we intend to execute our strategies, by initiating the match aggressively. Scoring 80 during the power play was truly remarkable.

In my opinion, bowling in this stadium and on this pitch is quite challenging. Nevertheless, we adopted an assertive approach and effectively utilized bouncers. As evident, Stoinis entered the game and delivered impressively forceful deliveries.

Zampa has been incredible. It was incredible. He displayed his skill set and captured two important wickets.

The match has come to a close in Bangalore! Pakistan put on an admirable performance in the batting lineup, especially with the outstanding Shafique and ul-Haq who set an opening partnership record. However, Stoinis stepped in and claimed two important wickets, shifting the momentum back towards Australia's favor.

The middle lineup of Pakistan was not successful in their performance once Cummins took the bold step of taking charge and getting rid of Saud and Babar.

Rizwan getting out was the turning point in the game and ultimately the rest of the team couldn't catch up to the Australians. Warner and Marsh both played exceptionally well, leading their team to victory.

Australia Triumph By 62 Runs

Pakistan is not giving up yet. Afridi is using his tall stature to hit the short ball. He hooked the ball and got a one bounce four. He then pulled off a great shot which looked like it would go over the fence, but unfortunately, it was caught by Marcus Labuschagne in the deep.

PAK Scores 301/9, With Rauf At 0 And Afridi At 6

Starc maintains his impressive performance, and Pakistan's situation is critical.

In the cricket match, Ali was facing Inglis who was bowling, but he could not manage to hit the ball properly. Starc, who was fielding, successfully took Ali's wicket. Ali tried to pull the ball, but unfortunately, he ended up nicking the ball with his bat, and it went straight to the keeper. After Ali's dismissal, the new score was 301 runs for a loss of 9 wickets.

PAK Scores 292/8 With Ali's 4 And Afridi's 1

Afridi displays his strength by hitting Starc's ball directly and driving it skillfully through the covers for four points. Starc has always managed to take a wicket in a 50-over game for Australia and is trying to keep his reputation intact. Pakistan reaches their 300th point milestone as Ali takes a step back from his batting position and manages to hit the ball with a thick edge, resulting in a quick sprint towards the third man for another four points.

PAK Scores 292/8; Ali With 4, Afridi With 1

We witness Hasan's might as he smashes a ball towards the bowler and scores four runs. The over only yields five runs.

"Pakistan Scores 287/8 With Ali And Afridi At 0"

Zampa bowled yet another excellent over.

Nawaz moved forward but didn't seem sure of his shot. As a result, the ball slipped past him and Inglis completed an easy stumping. This loss brings the score to 287/8.

Pakistan At 277/7 With Nawaz Scoring 5 And Afridi At 0

Afridi attempted a powerful hit but missed the ball. Fortunately, the ball bounced off the ground and went over the wickets. On the other hand, Nawaz successfully hit the ball in a similar way, sending it flying over Maxwell standing at long-off for a six.

PAK Scores 277/7, Nawaz With 5, Afridi With 0

Hazlewood's reliability is evident through his economy rate of 3.6 in his bowling performance thus far.

Hazlewood bowled Mir out and Starc caught the ball at fine leg resulting in Mir being out for zero. Pakistan's team is in danger of collapsing as their score is now 277-7. The ball Hazlewood bowled enticed Mir to move forward, but the result was a scoop and a catch by Starc that was not too difficult.

Pakistan Scores 274/6 With Mir And Nawaz On 0 And 2

The ball is hit by Mir towards the mid-on area, and Stoinis has a promising opportunity to catch it. Unfortunately, the ball drops just a bit too far from him. Pakistan gets a lucky break.

PAK Score 274/6, Mir 0, Nawaz 2

Rizwan was given out LBW to Zampa after scoring 46 runs. As soon as he was given out, he decided to review the decision. It appeared that the ball may have been going towards the leg side, given how Rizwan was positioned across his stumps. However, after reviewing the footage, it was found that the ball had slightly touched the leg stump. Since it was deemed to be umpire's call, Rizwan was declared out and had to leave the field. This wicket led to a new score of 274-6.

Pakistan's Score: 272/5 With Rizwan Scoring 45 And Nawaz 1

Zampa moved the fielder at long-off position towards Nawaz, giving him the freedom to bowl with more force. He cleverly mixed his speed and kept targeting the left-handed batsman's backfoot to restrict his shots. Nawaz somehow managed to hit a ball which was thrown high in the air just in front of point. But, Rizwan took a rash shot and failed to connect as it hit his upper leg resulting in his dismissal.

"Pakistan Scores 272/5 With Rizwan And Nawaz Contributing"

In the latest over, Hazlewood allowed the opposing team to score only two singles. He did this by using a variety of pitches. Rizwan then hit the ball across his pads to make another single, while Nawaz was hit high on his pad by the last delivery. As a result, only three runs were scored in this over.

Pakistan Scores 269/5 With Rizwan And Nawaz's Contribution

Zampa's impressive bowling led to Iftikhar's dismissal, as he aggressively attacked the ball like a professional heavyweight boxer would. This has once again put pressure on the Pakistani team.

In the cricket match, Iftikhar was given out by LBW to Zampa when he was at 26 runs. The video footage demonstrated that the ball had initially hit Iftikhar's pad, causing him to get trapped in front of his stumps while being on his back foot. The decision was very clear-cut, and there was no way to challenge it. After Iftikhar's wicket, the score was 269 for five wickets lost.

PAK Scores 265/4 With Rizwan & Iftikhar Scoring

Australia isn't happy with how this partnership is forming, so Zampa returns to the field to stop the momentum. Pakistan manages to hit a single towards gully. After that, they hit a drive towards mid-off that's skillfully caught near the boundary. Iftikhar then hits a powerful pull towards deep mid-wicket for two more runs. There's a loud appeal for LBW, but it seems like the ball first hit the pad. Cummins challenges the decision and requests a review.

PAK Score 265/4 With Rizwan 42, Iftikhar 23

During the cricket match, Stoinis was hit hard by a baseball shot that hit the sightscreen for six. He responded with quick hands and flicked the ball off his pad for a single. Rizwan attempted to hit the ball over the fine leg by staying low and paddling it, but he did not hit it well. However, the ball was able to just go fine enough to result in a run-down four. Pakistan managed to accumulate many singles, ending up with a total of 13 for the over. This was considered smart and cautious batting by them.

"Pakistan Scores 252/4 With Rizwan And Iftikhar Contributing"

Cummins is still determined to increase the pressure on Pakistan. However, Iftikhar is not backing down and challenges Cummins by expertly swiveling and hitting a six over the fine leg. He continues his momentum by hitting a powerful shot over deep square-leg, showcasing his agile footwork by quickly moving across his position. This over leads to a total of 13 runs, which highlights the importance of Pakistan keeping up this pace of scoring to remain competitive in the game.

Pak's Score: 238/4 In 37 Overs

Stoinis is now bowling and the batsmen have taken two singles from his first two deliveries. The commentators discuss how much Stoinis lifts weights in the gym to maintain his physique, but they are told that stretching is actually what keeps him in shape. How useful to know! Stoinis tries a slower ball, but the next delivery is hit to the deep mid-wicket area, and Rizwan goes for it. Unfortunately, he can't reach it and it's called a wide. Pakistan then manages a boundary hit and a leg bye in the last two deliveries, getting a total of five runs from the over.

Pakistan Score 232/4 With Rizwan's 33 And Iftikhar's 0

Cummins had a fantastic over! He only allowed one run and managed to take a wicket.

Saud was caught by Stoinis at point after hitting a shot off his back foot. He was bowled by a skillful seamer named Cummins. This dismissal has left the team with a total of 232-4 and the captain's performance has become prominent.

PAK Scores 231/3 With Rizwan And Saud Contributing

At a crucial point in the game, Pat Cummins decides to come back into the attack, facing two batters who are still in good form.

Pakistani Team Scores 231/3, Rizwan And Saud Shine

Saud is doing really well, finding openings whenever he wants unexpectedly. He punishes Maxwell by hitting a short ball through the space between square-leg and mid-wicket for four. Pakistan gets two more singles, making a total of nine scored in that over.

PAK Vs. Unnamed Opponent: Score At 222/3

In this match, Starc is trying to bowl the ball towards the wicket and a little bit further back. He tricks Saud with a slow ball that bounces high, but the umpire says it is not in the right place and calls it a wide ball, which makes Starc unhappy. Saud waits patiently for Starc to make a mistake and when he finally does, Saud hits the ball with a twist of his hips and sends it flying over mid-off and cover for four points. The umpire gives Starc a break by not calling a foul on his next bouncer, even though it was close to being too high. On the last ball, Saud puts even more pressure on Starc by moving his position and hitting the ball down low for four more points. It was a great shot by Saud.

"Pakistan Scores 213/3 With Rizwan And Saud Contributing"

Maxwell is bowling very accurately, and he has increased his speed to prevent Rizwan from moving his feet effectively. However, on the very last ball of the over, Rizwan managed to read Maxwell's delivery really well. He positioned himself towards the leg side, allowing him to come forward and hit the ball over mid-off. As a result, he scored a total of five runs from the over.

"Pakistan Scores 208/3 With Rizwan And Saud Contributing"

Mitchell Stark is throwing the ball at a diagonal angle towards Rizwan and then across the pitch towards Saud, who is batting on the left-hand side. Rizwan hits the ball with a quick movement of his wrists and gets one point, while Saud gently taps the ball towards fine leg to return the strike. They score a few more individual points before Rizwan attempts to hit the ball over the mid-wicket. After practicing with one throw, he hits the ball with great force, resulting in a four-point score.

PAK At 200/3 With Rizwan And Saud Scoring 19 And 14 Respectively

Rizwan hits the ball towards square-leg and gets a single. After a ball that was too wide, Saud tries to hit the ball towards mid-off but doesn't hit it properly. Hazlewood challenges him with a bouncer and Saud hits a thick edge that goes over Inglis and gets four points. However, there's a concussion check needed as the ball might have grazed Saud's helmet. The umpires and the players take a break to discuss the situation and Saud is cleared to continue playing. He responds to his previous play with an impressive shot where he stands tall to hit the ball towards an on-drive, arcing it over Hazlewood and scoring four points.

PAK At 190/3 With Rizwan And Saud Scoring 18 And 10, Respectively

Saud wipes his bat with a cloth and plays a shot towards the fielder standing at fine leg. Due to the moisture on the ground, the ball travels quickly and reaches the boundary, earning the team four runs. They also manage to score three more singles, with one exciting hit being a reverse sweep, before ending the over by hitting the ball through the covers for two runs.

"Pakistan's Score Of 181/3 With Rizwan And Saud Contributing"

Hazlewood returns to bowl and immediately challenges Saud with his first delivery outside the off-stump. Despite their good performance against spin, bringing the pace bowler could be a smart decision. Saud faces an LBW appeal as one delivery rises high and hits his back pad. Although it was pitched in-line, it was deemed too high. Pakistan manages to sneak in a couple of singles, but Australia seems to have regained the upper hand after taking three quick wickets.

Pakistan Scores 179/3; Rizwan And Saud Contribute

Zampa has made a comeback, and Rizwan has hit the first ball for a single by driving it straight to the bowler's feet, which deflects away. Zampa has managed to dismiss Rizwan three times before, and now he has returned to try and get him out for the fourth time. But before that, he manages to take the wicket of the Pakistani captain, which is an even bigger achievement.

Shakeel, a person who uses his left hand dominantly, cleverly lifted the final ball above his shoulder to score a single run.

Cameron Henderson will take you to the end.

Babar Azam was caught out by Pat Cummins after being bowled by Adam Zampa with a fantastic leg break. Babar attempted to pull the ball back, but Cummins dove to his right to take an incredible catch at short midwicket. This resulted in Babar's dismissal and the team's new score of 175/2.

Pakistan's Score: 174/2 With Babar And Rizwan On The Crease

Stoinis came very close to achieving a hat-trick as his off-cutter curved past Rizwan's off-stump. Stoinis showed excellent skills in white-ball cricket by using different techniques and grips, only allowing the Pakistani duo to score four singles. They are known to be a powerful pair in Pakistan's cricket team.

PAK 169/2: Babar With 16 & Rizwan With 11

Mohammad Rizwan leans forward and angles his bat to hit the ball towards the boundary past the wicket-keeper resulting in a four. Then, he chooses to sweep the slow delivery from Cummins, who is one of the best Test fast bowlers, and manages to add two runs to the score. Cummins tries to increase the speed of the ball, but Rizwan skillfully hits it through the covers for another four.

Pakistan requires a total of 199 runs to win the match within the span of 25 overs. Stoinis has successfully dismissed a player in the previous two sets of six deliveries.

PAK 159/2: Babar 16, Rizwan 1

I was curious if Imam could have made a stronger slice by giving it an upper-cut instead of just slapping it. However, he ended up slapping it. Babar concluded the inning with a high elbow punch that propelled the ball through mid-on and astonishingly made its way to the boundary. This was quite impressive since he didn't have a follow-through, yet was still able to generate so much power.

During the cricket match, Imam made a poor decision to cut a short ball that was outside off and unfortunately, it ended up in the hands of third man. Starc had to jump forward and to his right to take the catch, resulting in Imam's dismissal. At the time of his dismissal, the team's score was 154/2.

PAK Dominates With 151/1 At OVER 23

The Imam requested a single when he hit the ball to the short third, but his captain ordered him to stay put. However, the Imam got what he wanted eventually when the throw caused the stumps to crumble, and the ball bounced off the keeper's gloves, granting them time to get an extra run. Babar then hit a square drive for a single, followed by the Imam and Babar flicking their wrists to send the ball in different directions. Starc then tried a bouncer on the left-hander again, but it didn't rise above the player's waist, so he struck it hard in front of square and managed to score four runs.

Pakistani Duo Dominates With 134/0

Babar Azam, who is currently ranked as the top ODI batsman by the ICC, hit a pulled shot towards Stoinis, resulting in four runs. He then hit an on-drive, causing concern for the bowler as the ball bounced up from an old crease and went over Hazlewood's drive.

Stoinis, the all-rounder, got an early wicket by hitting the ball hard. Shafique tried to hit a pull shot, but the ball came in at an awkward angle and he ended up top-edging it towards midwicket. This wicket was a significant one as the score was now 134/1.

PAK Dominate With 134/0 Against Opponent At 21+

He attempted to hit the bumper ball, but the Imam managed to dodge it and avoid being hit. Starc's best over only resulted in three singles being earned.

PAK 131/0: Shafique And Imam Put Up An Impressive Score

The aim is to defeat Maxwell, and Shafique is the one making moves. He modifies his position, swings the bat, and sends the ball over the point, grabbing four runs. Next, he moves down the pitch and hits a direct drive past the bowler for another four. Shafique's teammate, Imam, also contributes by hitting a shot off of leg stump over the field and gaining four runs. Although Imam has improved his play style, it's unexpected that they haven't challenged him with a bouncer yet. With Starc's return, maybe they will attempt this tactic now.

Pakistani Openers Dominate: Score 116/0 At 19 Overs

Zampa has kept a clean and neat performance so far, with only allowing four singles. However, it seems that Pakistan will be attempting to make some progress soon.

PAK 112/0: Shafique And Imam's Half-Centuries

Shafique scores his fifty runs by hitting a strong hit towards the long-on area, earning a single point. Imam strikes a short-pitched ball and sends it to the midwicket region, but Cummins touches it and it flies over the boundary, causing disappointment among the crowd. However, the disappointment is not as loud as it would have been if it was not the captain who hit the ball. Later, Imam achieves his own fifty runs by batting a slider ball off his toes, which goes for a four.

PAK Dominates With 104/0 At OVER 17

Shafique was feeling frustrated because there weren't clear limits in place. He hit a drive towards long on, but it didn't quite make it. He and his partner ran for a single, which was the third one they'd done in that over, and this brought their overall score up to one hundred. Smith did an excellent job of stopping the ball at midwicket so that they couldn't get another solo point. Even though Smith was quick to stand back up, Zampa wasn't able to keep the last ball up high enough, and Imam took advantage of this by hitting it with a late cut and scoring four points.

Pak Off To Strong Start With 97/0

Maxwell was called upon to bowl the first over after the break. He did an excellent job by only letting the opposing team score three singles. He was able to maintain a precise line, and his teammates in the field supported him.

The umpires have clarified that DRS is not functioning at the moment. The ball-tracking technology is not available at present.

Pak Begin Strong: 94/0

The beginning batsmen have successfully scored four singles and have reached a satisfactory point in the game. However, they must remain alert as there was an instant loss of wicket after the intermission in Ahmedabad.

Pakistan Off To A Strong Start With 90/0 At Over 14

Shafique made matters worse for the opposing team by hitting a six after they missed catching the ball. The ball hit the foam Toblerones at the bottom and the umpire was instructed to signal a six after watching multiple replays with the help of his colleague in the television booth.

Earlier in the game, Smith had a close call when he abruptly stopped at short third and left a hole in the ground with his knee. It reminded us of Simon Jones' unfortunate injury, but Smith was fortunate enough to keep playing without any harm.

Pak Starts Strong: 81/0

Zampa's bowling is not as accurate as before, and it's not because of the dew. His back is bothering him, and this has affected his confidence. Imam takes advantage of Zampa's inconsistent bowling by using his footwork to hit a lofted four over his head. Pakistan started to score boundaries early in the game, so they can now focus on getting easy runs by hitting four singles.

Pak 73/0: Shafique And Imam Shine

It seems to be contagious. Or rather, the lack of catching is. The substitute player, Sean Abbott, missed catching Shafique near the boundary and unfortunately also hit the ball over the rope resulting in six runs. Shafique had faced Cummins' sharp delivery and pulled it towards the front of square. The ball was heading towards Abbott, but surprisingly his usually reliable hands failed him this time. Just before this incident, Shafique had hit an excellent off-drive resulting in four runs. Cummins had a master plan to execute for his next delivery but unfortunately, Abbott's mistake disrupted it.

PAK 61/0: Shafique 23, Imam 32

Cummins shields Zampa effectively, who effectively bowls to the set field and employs the offside ring to restrict Shafique from reaching the sweepers during his leg-break drives.

The top-performing Australian bowlers during Indian ODIs (#CWC2023 squad):

Zampa has taken 32 wickets with an average of 31 runs per wicket, an economy rate of 5.9 runs per over, and a strike rate of one wicket per 32 runs. Starc has taken 17 wickets with an average of 37 runs per wicket, an economy rate of 6.1 runs per over, and a strike rate of one wicket per 36 runs. Cummins has taken 25 wickets with an average of 34 runs per wicket, an economy rate of 5.2 runs per over, and a strike rate of one wicket per 39 runs. Hazlewood has taken 8 wickets with an average of 38 runs per wicket, an economy rate of 5.6 runs per over, and a strike rate of one wicket per 41 runs.

PAK 59/0 With Shafique And Imam Scoring 22 And 31 Respectively

Hazlewood has successfully finished the initial Powerplay, having given away only four singles. The three singles were played behind on both sides of the pitch, except for one run each. As a result, he was able to restrict the runs to only 10 in the final four overs of the Powerplay.

Zampa is going to bowl early on in the game. It's possible that Cummins will change the end he is bowling on.

"Lines are shifting for Pakistan!" ????️ ????????

Imam made a great beginning on the quick outfield by hitting back-to-back deliveries from Hazlewood to the fence! The balls zoomed through the air like lightning, making the audience go "Wow!"

"Pakistan Scores 55 Without Losing A Wicket: Shafique At 20, Imam At 29"

The Imam missed the delivery outside the off-stump, causing the ball to bounce over his bat. Cummins must be enjoying the sight of this happening. The Imam then made a defensive hit towards the mid-off and quickly took a single. Shafique followed up with a hit to a short ball, resulting in a four, but not being able to hit it squarely in the middle.

Pakistani Batsmen Shine: Shafique 16, Imam 27

Josh Hazlewood just delivered a challenging over that restricted the openers to only two singles. Shafique hit to mid-off and Imam played through midwicket to secure a single each. It's crucial that they keep taking these singles. Focusing excessively on the run rate at this stage is not advisable. However, if they can reach a score of 180 with minimal wickets lost in 30 overs, it could be a starting point for them to aim for a higher score.

PAKISTAN SCORES 46/0 WITH SHAFIQUE AND IMAM SCORING 15 AND 26, RESPECTIVELY

Cummins has entered the game. In his previous three appearances, his performance was inconsistent, but he's doing well against both left- and right-handed batsmen today. He's running hard, but Shafique charged towards him, and Cummins had to drop to the ground to avoid being hit in the head when Shafique swung his bat and hit a four. Shafique played a shot towards the third man and took a single, so he can continue batting.

PAK 40/0: A Strong Start

Following some intense moments during the initial five overs, Hazlewood finally grants his captain's wish with a maiden over. He outsmarted Shafique when he attempted to make a cut and once more when he tried a back-foot punch.

PAK 40/0 With Shafique And Imam Scoring 10 And 25 Respectively

In the cricket match, Starc made his fifth wide ball that went way beyond Shafique's leg stump. Shafique responded by using his bat to hit the ball towards the third man and scored a single point. When it was Imam's turn to bat, Starc attempted to hit his pads with the ball, but Imam managed to hit the ball for four points. Later, two more points were scored when Imam successfully hit the ball using his toes. He then hit the ball towards midwicket and scored four more points. It's interesting to note that the wide balls that were aimed at the right-handed Shafique likely would have caused difficulty during the match, while four wide balls aimed at the left-handed Imam could have provided a challenge for Shafique.

Pakistani Openers Off To A Solid Start - Shafique 9, Imam 15

Hazlewood bowled two deliveries that were of back of a length, and the treatment was given to them by Imam. For the first one, Imam used a short-arm style to pull it off and scored four runs. On the other hand, for the second one, he expertly carved it past point and added another run to his scoreboard.

As the bowler shifts to the opposite side of the wicket, their delivery seems to pose a greater threat. They execute the perfect length, causing the ball to strike Imam's pads, and follow it up by sending one across the edge.

PAK Leading: 20/0

Starc delivered two balls to Shafique's off-stump that did not swing. Shafique responded by hitting the first ball through cover and the second one behind point, both resulting in fours. The outfield is very smooth and the ball moves quickly towards the boundary line like a glass surface.

Pak Leads By 12 With 2 Overs

The Imam calmly takes another swing, angling the bat to open up his shot and sending the ball flying past the point for four points. Despite his past struggles with the hook shot, Aaron Finch encourages Hazlewood to try a surprise bouncer. However, Hazlewood decides to keep his shot low for now, and the Imam wisely chooses to defend and avoid a risky cut to the ball that was too close to him.

"PAK Start Strong With 8/0 "

Mitchell Starc starts off with two wide deliveries on the legside. Following his first legal delivery, he shoots down another two wides in a row. This would result in an over that lasts for 10 balls, or potentially more. Starc signals for a replacement right boot that has longer spikes.

The idea that his new boot is aiding in his performance is unlikely. However, the following two throws veer off to the right and Shafique takes a powerful swing at the second one. The third one is deflected by his angled bat toward third man, resulting in a single. Wow! There are still two more throws to go, so it looks like we will be here for quite some time!

The Imam smoothly executes a cover drive and the ball speeds towards the boundary line. Labuschagne swiftly runs after it and dramatically dives headfirst to prevent it from crossing the boundary. He manages to retrieve the ball and skillfully throws it in as they successfully complete their third run.

They require approximately eight runs per over. That's a good beginning!

Starc Takes The New Ball Now!

Abdullah Shafique is in good physical condition to begin batting at the start of a match, despite having injured his finger.

Pakistan Requires 368 Runs To Secure Victory At Innings Break

The situation could have been more dire than it was. Despite dropping David Warner at the start and then witnessing a phenomenal batting partnership that amassed 259 runs before the 97 balls were over, Pakistan managed to bounce back. However, they are still at a disadvantage even though the ground is small and high-scoring.

Warner and Marsh were superb. I believe Maxwell could perform well in bowling until the dew sets in. Come join us to watch Pakistan's pursuit after the players take a break.

Cummins And Zampa Lead Australia To A Score Of 367/9 In The Over 50 Match

Shaheen scored two consecutive wickets but missed his chance for a hat-trick when he bowled the ball too far from Zampa and it was counted as a "wide" by the umpire. The No. 11 Australian batsman hit a weak full toss that rolled towards point, where the fielder made a mistake and was not able to stop the ball cleanly. Nevertheless, the batsmen had a chance to take a second run but failed to do so despite the opportunity being available throughout the day.

Cummins hit the ball with his bat and accidentally hit his own foot. He was then fooled by a slower ball that went through the space between the bat and the leg stump. There was only one ball left and Cummins hit it with the inside of his bat for two runs. The umpires checked if he was out by run out because Rizwan removed the bails, but he reached home safely.

Afridi concluded his bowling performance with figures of 10 overs, 1 maiden, 54 runs conceded and a total of 5 wickets taken.

In the match, Hazlewood has been dismissed by Shaheen for a score of zero after edging to the wicket-keeper, resulting in yet another golden duck. Shaheen has now recorded a five-for and is currently on a hat-trick for the second time during the game. The current score is 363/9.

It's hard to believe, but Australia's advantage in the game seems to have vanished. The new batsmen who replaced the previous ones haven't handled the situation properly, despite starting from a solid position. Starc moved his front leg away and hit the ball to the long off area. The score is now 363/8.

"Big Score Alert: Australia Reaches 363/7 With Cummins And Starc Shining"

Labuschagne and Cummins managed to secure a run without much effort when Rizwan was unable to catch Rauf’s slower ball. Cummins then hit the ball past midwicket and earned a single point. Unfortunately, Labuschagne's next move resulted in him being out. So far, Haris Rauf has taken three wickets and Pakistan has won 80 percent of matches when he achieves this feat.

Starc joined the game and quickly sent his first ball towards the fine leg for a single point. When Cummins flicked the ball, Shaheen was able to stop it at the short fine, limiting it to just a single point.

Rauf's performance concluded with 3 wickets for 83 runs in 8 overs, however, he managed to pull through in his last four overs with three wickets and only 24 runs.

Labuschagne was substituted by Shadab and was bowled out by Rauf, scoring 8 runs. He tried to hit a straight pull down the field towards the midwicket sweeper, but unfortunately the ball landed directly in their hands. As a result, the team's score became 360 for the loss of 7 wickets.

"AUS Dominates With 358/6; Labuschagne And Cummins Contribute"

Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf have performed admirably for their team in the final stages of the match after a difficult beginning. Although the opposing team's total seemed insurmountable at one point, the current challenge for their batsmen is not as daunting as Mount Everest. However, the struggles new batsmen face in timing their shots indicate that forming significant partnerships is vital. Labuschagne continues to swing and miss.

Stoinis is out "lbw" (leg before wicket) by Shaheen scoring only 21 runs. He wanted to help his team reach a total of 400 runs by hitting the ball behind the wicket keeper, but he missed it. This results in "FOW" (fall of wicket) of 354/6.

Stoinis was declared leg before wicket by Shaheen's delivery. He moved towards the square and tried to ramp it, but it hit his front leg as he turned around. It appeared obvious that he was out.

"Australia Scores 354/5 With Stoinis And Labuschagne"

Labuschagne moves towards his legside and hits a poorly delivered ball towards the mid-off area, earning himself four runs. This is the only notable hit off Haris's seventh over as he works on improving his performance. He has taken two wickets for only 20 runs in his last three overs, which is a significant improvement from his initial performance of not taking any wickets and conceding 59 runs in the first four overs.

AUS Scores 347/5 With Stoinis And Labuschagne Contributing

Once Labuschagne faced two unsuccessful balls and a single hit by Shaheen's yorker, Shaheen instructed the fielders to move to a particular position, including fine leg and third man entering the circle. Accordingly, point, mid-off, and mid-on were pushed back. This move indicated a slower, full ball delivery, and Stoinis found out. He left his position and cut the ball over backward point, scoring four runs.

AUS Dominates With 340/5

Shane Watson highlights the fact that if Haris Rauf manages to successfully take three wickets in an ODI, Pakistan has won 80% of their games. Upon hearing this, Ramiz Raja takes hold of this small glimmer of hope and enthusiastically cheers Haris on by saying, "Let's go, Haris!"

Stoinis was unable to unleash his powerful swings due to the speedy delivery of the ball at 90mph, resulting in only two runs being scored and a wicket being taken during the over.

Rauf bowled a ball that Inglis tried to scoop, but unfortunately, he ended up hitting the ball onto the wicketkeeper's gloves, resulting in a catch. Thanks to the Decision Review System (DRS), Pakistan was able to claim the wicket. At the time, the score was 339/5 and this became the new first out.

"AUS 338/4 With Stoinis And Inglis Scoring 14 And 13"

Babar expanded his cheeks as Inglis stayed behind to hit a boundary over midwicket. This was Inglis' second boundary of the over, the first being a cover drive which happened after Hasan tried to pitch a yorker but missed.

AUS Scores Big: 330/4 With Stoinis And Inglis

Shaheen Shah Afridi showed sportsmanship by congratulating Warner for his outstanding performance during the match. However, it's worth noting that Shaheen should have caught Warner when he had scored just 10 runs. Afridi gave Warner a friendly pat on his helmet while leaving the field.

Josh Inglis has become the third batter to surpass Labuschagne's position in the order. He quickly scored four runs by hitting a square drive with great force, taking advantage of the wide pitch.

Warner hits a six in the cricket match by flinging his leg forward, but unfortunately, his next attempt fails. The bowler, Rauf, had slowed the pace, causing Warner to swing too early and let go of his bottom hand. Shadab, who is the team's top fielder and filling in as a substitute, catches the ball as it sails high into the air. As a result, the team's score is now 325/4.

"Australia Score Huge: Warner Hits 157 In 319/3"

During the match, Hasan managed to score three single points and two twos. He also prevented the opponent team from scoring points by cutting off the ball's trajectory towards the boundaries. He did this by forcing the opposing team's players to stretch out to reach the ball, thereby reducing their power and chances of scoring.

Haris Rauf is returning to the field with figures of 4 runs, 0 wickets, and 59 runs conceded.

Warner And Stoinis Lead With 312/3 In Over 41

In the cricket match, Usama took charge for the ninth over and managed to take out one more player at the end of the Powerplay. However, even if he had all ten players on the field, Warner would have still smashed his first ball over midwicket for a six. Warner then scored two consecutive singles, while Stoinis hit a cut shot for a single. Stoinis later hit a powerful straight drive, which hit mostly off the toe, for a six.

Warner’s 145 Leads AUS To 297/3 At 40+

Hasan Ali made a relatively calm comeback, giving away three leg-byes. Stoinis managed to score two runs by hitting the ball with the back of his foot and pushing it through the cover. He also managed to get a single run by slightly touching the pad with the ball. Shaheen got angry and threw the ball towards the stumps in frustration, almost leading to the opposing team scoring. However, Shakeel managed to save the day and prevent Shaheen from feeling embarrassed.

"Australia Dominates With 291/3 In Over 39 "

Smith has to perform well in the next match to demonstrate his value in the top four. Once Head is back, he and Labuschagne will compete for the anchor position. During the World Cup, Usama got his first wicket and then Stoinis and Warner took three singles in an effort to tire out the bowler. Later, the leg-spinner made a mistake by overpitching and Warner took advantage of it by hitting the ball to the bowler's right for a four.

In a cricket match, Smith from the team c&b Usama 7 failed to hit the ball properly and returned it to the bowler who had previously struggled with catching. However, this time the bowler managed to hold onto the ball, leading to Smith's disbelief. This resulted in a change in the score with FOW 284/3.

"Australia's Dominant Batting Display: Warner And Smith Shine"

During this spell, Shaheen remained on the pitch for another over. Warner struck a high drive over mid-off that landed 5 meters away from the boundary line and allowed them to score two runs. Shaheen changed his style of pitching, but it did not work in his favor as Warner hit a four and then another hit in front of square. Shaheen expressed his dissatisfaction to his team captain at short extra position for not preventing the ball from going out of bounds.

"Australia Dominates With 274/2: Warner Scores 129"

Smith is indicating that Warner should stay. Despite the huge score that is impending, it is difficult to begin an inning in that situation. Smith is struggling to score runs with two hits, while Warner managed to get a hit by bunting the ball back towards the pitcher.

"Australia Dominates With 269/2 In 36 Overs "

In the cricket match, Warner prevented Shaheen's attempt to make a hat-trick by hitting the ball with a straight bat and getting a single point. Smith also managed to get a point by hitting the ball towards fine leg. Warner repeated the same action by cutting the ball for another single point. However, Smith missed the ball when trying to pull it and got hit on the legs, resulting in a leg-bye.

Warner And Smith Score For AUS: 264/2

Babar made a mistake in catching the ball when Smith made an error in his batting technique and ended up hitting the ball towards Usama Mir's leg-break. The fielding of the Pakistani team has been comical and filled with errors.

AUS Dominates With 259/2 Score

Shaheen made a come back and was greeted by Marsh who hit his ball for a six straight down the field and later hit another one off his pads. Marsh's joy was short-lived as he was caught out, leaving Upul Tharanga and Tillakaratne Dilshan's record of 282 runs that they made in 2011 as the unbeaten record for the highest opening partnership in the history of the World Cup.

After being promoted, Maxwell smashed his Field Marshal's baton into two pieces with a wild swipe at the first ball.

The next over could potentially earn Shaheen a hat-trick.

Maxwell got out for a golden duck as Babar bowled and Shaheen caught him. He tried to hit the ball towards cow corner by moving his front leg, but instead sliced it towards mid-off. This resulted in a loss of wicket with the score of 259/2.

Glenn, you should have taken more time with your shot! This is a huge setback for Australia. They still have many powerful hitters left, but losing their most aggressive one so soon was unexpected.

Usama from Marsh's team was caught out by Shaheen from the other team. Shaheen expertly caught the ball at the short fine leg in a low-down position after a good attempt by Marsh. However, it was not enough to help their team's performance as they were too late in making this catch and had too few points. The team was in first out at a score of 259/1.

Aus Dominates With 245/0 At Over 33

After two balls of the over, the drinks were brought out because Abdullah Shafique appeared to have injured his hand while dropping Warner at deep midwicket off Usama's delivery. Although the chance was harder than the one Usama missed – in fact, catching an orange thrown by a toddler would have been easier – Abdullah should have been able to make the catch diving to his right. This is unbelievable – it's the second chance Warner has been given by the opposition team.

During the break, Usama pitches the ball to Warner again, but he hits it too far and it goes over the cow corner for six points. However, Usama tries too hard the next two times, throws the ball too far, and Warner manages to hit two fours through extra-cover. Rizwan is surprised and frustrated with Usama's poor bowling, so he stretches his arms out in disbelief.

Warner And Marsh's Phenomenal Partnership: AUS 226/0

In this paragraph, it is discussed how Haris Rauf is having a difficult time on the field with more than 15 runs per over from his first three attempts. Meanwhile, Marsh is doing exceptionally well, effortlessly hitting a six over long on. It seems like they are effortlessly handling one of the fastest bowlers in international cricket at the moment. Marsh then easily gets a single, while Warner steps up to bat and hits a four through cover.

Aussies Dominate: Warner And Marsh Score Centuries

Warner has just hit his fourth ODI century in a row against Pakistan and it's his 21st overall. He patted a single down through long on to achieve this feat. Marsh, on the other hand, raised his century in a more impressive manner by creaming Nawaz through cover for a boundary. Warner achieved his century in just 85 balls while Marsh took an even 100. This combination has formed a fantastic partnership.

If either of these two players are released from their current circumstances, Australia has progressed to a point where having both middle-order accumulators, Smith and Labuschagne, in the No. 3 and 4 batting positions is unnecessary. Instead, they will seek out Maxwell or Stoinis to assist in their pursuit of scoring 400 runs.

AUS Scores Big: 208/0 With Warner And Marsh Almost At 100!

Marsh notices that the fielders in mid-off and mid-on are close to the batter, so he steps forward to Hasan and sends the ball flying over the fielder at mid-off for a six. Even though he didn't hit it perfectly, Marsh had a top-quality bat and strong forearms, so it didn't make a difference. Both batters are trying to reach their first century, but they only score singles off the following two balls. Then, Marsh takes control by hitting the ball through the cover for a press-drive and keeps the strike for himself.

Australia Dominates With A Score Of 199/0 At Over 29

Warner got down on one knee to catch Nawaz's low delivery and managed to hit a four while keeping the ball on the ground. He was very close to reaching a hundred runs and the audience cheered for him, but unfortunately, his drive towards the ground was blocked by a player from the opposing team. He could only manage to take one run instead of four.

Australia Dominate With 192/0 Above 28

Marsh was restricted by the spin, and looked awkwardly large like a grown man in a child's playhouse. He was happy to see a speedy ball from Hasan Ali, and easily hit it for six over midwicket. However, Hasan regained control and managed to throw four dot balls. Although Marsh had scored seven runs off the over, it was only a small success for Pakistan's fast bowler.

AUS Dominates With A Score Of 185/0, Warner At 93 And Marsh At 79

In that paragraph, it's being described how Warner is performing well in a cricket match. He makes a precise cut which gets him two points, and then he moves towards the pitcher (Nawaz) and hits the ball with a quick wrist motion, scoring four points. After making a single point with another shot, he and his teammate have now broken the record for the best opening partnership in a World Cup game for the country of Australia. This record was previously held by Brad Haddin and Shane Watson, who had scored 183 points together against Canada in 2011.

Babar is reintroducing Hasan which may be the opportune time for Australia to initiate their next attack.

Australia Dominates With 176/0 Vs Over 26

In the cricket match, Australia managed to get two runs instead of one due to an overthrow from Rizwan. Marsh then got another single by hitting the ball through the area between the fielders called point.

Australia's Dominance: Warner And Marsh Lead The Way

Nawaz managed to trap Marsh with five consecutive dot balls, thanks to his tighter and more consistent line. Despite the pressure, Marsh is still hanging on.

AUS Scores Big: 171/0 At Over 24

Marsh is feeling the urge to lash out, but he's managing to control himself by using a metaphorical biting gesture. David Warner is also supporting him, encouraging him to not act recklessly and to settle for two singles during this over. However, the tension is mounting, and the energy in the situation is palpable.

Babar failed to execute a potential run-out as he attempted to scoop the ball with one hand at cover point. This dreadful performance has been riddled with multiple errors.

AUS Dominates With 169/0 At Over 23

Australia had a good start and Pakistan's spinners were putting in more effort than they did in the previous game. However, Nawz made a mistake by delivering a poor ball after three consecutive good ones and Warner took advantage by hitting a huge six into the far corner of the field. The ball traveled a long distance of 83 meters.

Pakistan seems confident in their ability to score 350 runs, which they did in their previous match against Sri Lanka. However, judging by the current performance of their batters, they could potentially even reach a score of 400.

AUS Dominates: 162/0 - Warner 77, Marsh 74

Four times Iftikhar had to retrieve the ball after it was hit by Marsh, whether it was hit straight down the ground or flicked towards midwicket with the angle. Marsh is a right-handed batsman.

AUS Dominates With 158/0 At 21+

Nawaz continued to show his neat skills, while Usama, who seemed a bit scared, made a great dive to stop the ball and prevented the opposing team from scoring more than three runs in the first five balls. Marsh, who by now was also wearing a bright yellow hat, noticed that the left-handed spinner had thrown an unusually high ball for the last one. So, he walked confidently to the pitch and smashed it over the head of the fielder standing mid-on to score six points.

The way Australia has been performing in their batting during the first ten overs of the #CWC2023 has definitely shown some positive growth.

In the first game, against India, the average swing was 0.8 degrees and there were 5% of edges. The second game, played against RSA, had an average swing of 0.9 degrees and a percentage of 10% edges. The third game against Sri Lanka saw an improved average swing of 1.1 degrees and a lower percentage of edges, at 8%. Finally, in the fourth game versus Pakistan, there was an impressive average swing of 1.0 degrees and only 4.5% of edges.

"AUS 149/0: Warner And Marsh Score Big."

Iftikhar continues his bowling. He changes his position to over the wicket for Marsh and delivers an over with minimal elevation but accurate targeting, successfully disrupting the opposing team's aggressive attacks by producing sudden rolling and jumping of the ball. Could this be the much-needed break for Pakistan?

Australia's Dominant Start: 148/0

Nawaz, the spinner who uses his left arm, made a strong start by throwing the ball with steady speed and direction, making it difficult for the batsmen to hit the ball high. The batsmen managed to score only four singles in the area in front of the square.

Warner And Marsh Lead With 144/0 Against AUS Over 18

Iftikhar made the ball bounce more than expected and stopped Warner from hitting it towards the third man by pressing the breaks. He changed his headgear from a green helmet to an ODI cap. He corrected someone who referred to the Australian team's color as canary yellow, reminding them it is actually Australian gold. The ball was only called a wide.

Australia's Dominance: 143/0 With Warner And Marsh Leading The Charge

During the cricket game, Usama threw the ball and Warner hit it with his feet towards the long pasture at cow corner, earning six points for his team. They have scored eight times today, with most of them being impressive long shots. However, Warner did struggle a bit with a wide ball towards the legside and could have lost the point if his bat had moved slightly to the left.

The Aussies: 134/0, With Warner And Marsh Leading At 64 And 61 Respectively

Iftikhar comes in for Rauf as Marsh anticipates a chance to capitalize. He smashes a short delivery through the cover for a four. Pakistan has a small chance to come back after a miscommunication between the batsmen while running, but their chances have been slim since Usama missed an easy catch.

Warner And Marsh Lead Australia To 128/0 In Over 15

Marsh smashes an off drive ball, scoring a single which takes him to his fifty runs achieved in testing only 40 deliveries. Later, when Warner nabs a single to square leg, Marsh hits another phenomenal shot that takes the ball right up to the roof! This happens when Usama bowls too full, and Marsh takes advantage, hitting the ball back over the bowler's head and up so high that it even grazes the bronze roof's edge. This produces a feeling of immense satisfaction for Marsh.

It's time to have a drink. For Pakistan, amphetamine sulphate might be a better choice if they need something to boost their energy.

AUS Dominates With 119/0 In OVER 14

Rauf begins his third over with a slower ball and Warner hits it very hard for a big six to the legside. Rauf tries a bouncer next, but it goes so high over the left-handed batsman that the umpire signals a wide ball. Marsh scores a couple of singles before hitting another huge six to bring his score to 49. He hits the ball over midwicket without moving his feet, simply shifting his weight to get the right swing.

Aus Dominates With 103/0, Warner And Marsh Shine

Usman made two significant deliveries that were slow and gave the ball some air, which made Warner reconsider his strategy. However, the leg-spinner failed to maintain the pressure and ended up delivering a full toss, which Warner quickly seized by smashing it through midwicket for a four. This resulted in Warner reaching his half-century in just 39 balls.

Australia Off To A Strong Start: 96/0 With Warner And Marsh Scoring 48 And 41 Respectively

It appears as though Pakistan has accepted the challenge of trying to reach a score of over 350. However, their top four players remain optimistic. Haris Rauf changes his approach by using his speed, which is successful when he hits the right mark at 92mph, resulting in only single runs. However, if he sends the ball outside of off, back of the length, Marsh takes advantage and lands a cut shot for four runs. When Rauf attempts the slower ball, Warner anticipates it and nudges it gently off his pads for two runs. Australia seems unstoppable now, leaving Pakistan in need of some much-needed wickets.

Warner And Marsh Lead Australia To 88/0 In Over 11

When Usama Mir comes onto the pitch for his first spell of the tournament, he owes Warner a favor after letting him slip by on a score of 10. Mir begins his turn with a decent amount of self-assurance and puts some force behind the ball, but Warner is able to anticipate the signature move every leg-spinner has in their arsenal - the four-ball. When Mir delivers the inevitable drag down, Warner capitalizes on the opening and hits it behind point for an easy four.

10 Overs In: AUS 82/0

Now, this is what we call a superb Powerplay strategy. Warner skillfully directs the ball from Iftikhar's pulled-down delivery, sending it soaring over midwicket for a six. He then effortlessly guides a single down to long off.

Marsh creates some space for himself to aim towards the cover area. Nevertheless, the ball is hit towards the outer area, hence he stretches his arms to hit it towards the cover point, where he scores four points. The subsequent ball is of the same width, but shorter in length. Consequently, Marsh hits it with the back of his foot, leading to an additional score of four points.

"Australia's Impressive Start: 67 Runs With No Wicket Loss"

The game is experiencing a big shift. Haris Rauf throws a wide opener, giving Warner the chance to hit a four by slashing the ball over gully. Following that, the next ball is full and Warner moves his body over, drops to his knee, and deftly flicks the ball over his shoulder for a six, hitting the fascia of the roof. Warner gets a single in the next ball by gently dabbing it to the third man. Meanwhile, Marsh delivers an impressive on-drive, slamming the ball past the opposing fast bowler for another four. Marsh, who is celebrating his birthday, then hits the next ball off the back foot behind point for four, and finishes off with a square drive off the front foot for another four. This over generates twenty-four points.

Pakistan's wagon is in dire straits as it is left without any wheels.

AUS Off To A Strong Start: 43/0

Pakistan calls upon Iftikhar's off-spin, who begins by delivering a wide, slanted ball from around the wicket to Warner. However, despite a poorly executed delivery that resulted in Warner hitting it for a four, Iftikhar soon finds his rhythm and manages to deflect any attempts by the batsman to score runs.

Australia Off To A Solid Start: 37/0 In 7 Overs

Shaheen's bowling strategy is to play defensively and avoid giving Marsh any chances to score. However, Ramiz Raja observes that as the main bowler, it's important for Shaheen to pitch the ball up and make it swing towards Marsh. Ramiz suggests bowling a couple of outswingers and then following up with an inswinger to confuse Marsh. Despite Ramiz's advice, Shaheen decides to stick with his current approach and focuses on changing the pace of the ball to deceive Marsh. His tactics pay off as he successfully bowls a maiden over and even manages to hit Marsh's bottom hand with a quicker delivery, causing him to suffer a sore finger.

"Warner And Marsh Lead Australia's Score With 37/0 In Over 6"

Hasan has lost his grip on the swing and has hit the ball in a wide area off to the side of the leg. After that, he hit another ball that curved towards the slips. Warner is now really enjoying himself and makes a powerful cut that scores four points, and then quickly follows that up by hitting two points off his pads.

"AUS Makes Strong Start: Warner On 11, Marsh On 14"

In the cricket match, Usama Mir made a huge error by dropping a simple catch in the mid-on area. This made Shaheen, his teammate, extremely angry and frustrated. Meanwhile, Warner took advantage of a short delivery and hit it hard. Although it should have been an easy catch, Usama failed to judge it correctly and his hands were in the wrong position, resulting in him only touching the ball with his palm. It was a complete blunder on his part. Shaheen was so upset by the mistake that he looked down at the ground, doubled over as if he had been hit in the stomach.

Adding to his pain, Marsh watches as Warner hits a one-run shot towards midwicket, and then proceeds to hit a high square cut over point for four runs.

AUS Start Strong: 22/0

Warner moves sideways and hits Hasan's delivery over long leg for six with a clever shot, taking advantage of the angle. The left-handed batsman grins widely after successfully scoring a single towards the fielder at cover. This might be the final opportunity for one of cricket's outstanding players to make an impact in international cricket, and he plans to enjoy himself to the fullest extent. Marsh patiently waits for three consecutive balls but eventually, Hasan makes an error by delivering a ball too wide, allowing Marsh to hit it strongly over point for four runs.

Australia's Score: 11/0 In The Third Over

Shaheen's delivery length is okay, but his line isn't consistent and he's letting it stray. Australia has now accumulated an extra run due to the ball being thrown too wide. Meanwhile, Warner pulls off a backfoot shot and makes a single towards mid-off.

Shaheen puts pressure on Marsh who is a right-handed batsman by delivering four consecutive dot balls. Marsh tries to hit the ball with precision, but the infield players prevent him from scoring any runs.

"AUS Start Strong With 9/0 "

In the cricket match, Hasan Ali got the second new ball. Though Rauf had more speed, Hasan did better swings. When Marsh tried to cut, one of Hasan's swings veered so far away that the umpire had to call it a wide. Marsh then took a big step forward and attempted to hit a six, but the ball curved past his bat. Overall, it was a great start for Hasan.

"Football Premier League: Top Players To Watch!"

Shaheen's initial delivery hit Warner's front leg with force. It was a tricky ball that nipped back at the last minute. Despite protests from the fielders at square leg, Shaheen's captain was convinced to review the decision. Unfortunately, the evidence did not favor the team. Shaheen's next ball was a difficult one that swung away from the left-hander. Warner decided to let it go. Shaheen then threw a tighter ball that nearly caught Warner off guard. In the end, Warner managed to hit the ball with the bottom of his bat, allowing him to score a single to third man.

Marsh is currently not batting, and Shaheen is once again making an emotional plea to the umpire. He is vigorously gesturing with his arms and legs, desperately asking for a caught behind decision after the batter misses the ball. However, the two fielders in slip positions and the wicket-keeper, Rizwan, do not join in with his appeal.

Marsh becomes even more frustrated as he hits the following ball over mid-off for six with a smooth swing of his Gray Nicolls bat.

The ball hit the inner side of the bat and he was positioned two steps away from the stumps when it made contact with his thigh pad. Other than that, there were no noteworthy events.

Warner was given out lbw by Shaheen. It was a bad decision as the ball was too high and he could have hit it regardless. Using the Decision Review System (DRS) in this situation was a foolish move.

Teams Revealed!

The national anthems have been enthusiastically sung, with cheers of 'Pakistan zindabad!' ringing out at the end of the Pakistani anthem. The stadium is only about 10% full, with many ticket holders arriving a few hours after work has ended.

There are no changes in the Australian team, while Pakistan have decided to replace Shadab Khan with the tall leg-spinner, Usama Mir.

The Australian cricket team comprises David Warner, Mitchell Marsh, Steve Smith, Marnus Labuschagne, Glenn Maxwell, Josh Inglis as the wicketkeeper, Marcus Stoinis, Pat Cummins as the captain, Mitchell Starc, Adam Zampa, and Josh Hazlewood.

The Pakistani cricket team squad for the upcoming match consists of Abdullah Shafique, Imam-ul-Haq, Babar Azam as the captain, Mohammad Rizwan as the wicket-keeper, Saud Shakeel, Iftikhar Ahmed, Mohammad Nawaz, Usama Mir, Hasan Ali, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Haris Rauf.

"Pakistan Wins Toss In Cricket Match"

Australia has been put into the batting position. Due to dew being a common problem at Bengaluru, it is logical to bowl first.

Aim For Balance

Greetings and a warm welcome to the live broadcast of the Australia vs Pakistan match from Bangalore, which marks the first game of the 2023 World Cup series in Karnataka. It’s worth noting that on Thursday next week, England will be facing Sri Lanka in the same stadium. This week has been vastly different for the two teams. Pakistan has had a rough time, particularly in their previous match against India where their outstanding batting initially looked promising but ultimately failed to perform after collapsing like an accordion. To make matters worse, their bowling did not perform to expectations, with Shadab Khan out of form and Shaheen Shah Afridi unable to hide from India's heavy hitters when the ball stopped swinging.

Pakistan is currently ranked in the top four of the tournament due to their impressive wins against Netherlands and Sri Lanka. However, it seems that they may struggle to perform as well on a soft and easy pitch like the one at Chinnaswamy without the presence of Naseem Shah. The new rule of using two balls in 50-over cricket has eliminated the skill of reverse swing, and as a result, Pakistan's abilities have been hindered. It's impossible to ignore the fact that the team's brilliance has been compromised without a damaged ball.

Australia is feeling optimistic after defeating Sri Lanka, especially after their losses to India and South Africa. Mitchell Marsh scored well, Adam Zampa - who had previously been struggling - found his form, and Pat Cummins improved after a shaky start. Despite this, the team feels their balance isn't quite right.

It seems like the team is waiting for Travis Head to come back and fix things, but he hasn't been playing for a while. I think they should pick Cameron Green to bat in the top four instead of Steve Smith or Marnus Labuschagne, at least until Head returns. Another option could be to move Marcus Stoinis up in the lineup. Otherwise, Glenn Maxwell will have too much to do to speed up the game with Test Nos 3 and 4 batting at 4 and 3 in the lineup. If they win today, they will move ahead of England in the rankings, leading to some mutual satisfaction. This will start before tomorrow's match between the defending champions and South Africa.
