Arnold Schwarzenegger looks almost unrecognizable in his Santa Claus outfit for his newest role, marking his return to holiday films after nearly thirty years.

During his appearance on the set of The Man With The Bag, the 77-year-old Austrian actor concealed his attractive features and impressive body with a thick white beard, facial prosthetics, and a loose-fitting Christmas sweater.

In the scene, he wore a white crewneck sweater featuring a red pickup truck with a Christmas tree in the back, paired with brown corduroy trousers.

Eventually, he wrapped himself in a long red coat that looked just right for Santa Claus as he brought festive joy to all of Manhattan.

While he’s primarily recognized for his performances in various action movies, such as The Terminator, he also had a role in a 1996 holiday family comedy. In this film, he plays an overworked dad determined to obtain a popular action figure for his son. Along the way, he discovers the true spirit of Christmas.

The ex-governor of California, who has just welcomed his third grandchild, is now part of a lengthy roster of actors who have portrayed Santa Claus. This list features notable names like Ben Affleck, Tim Allen, Billy Bob Thornton, and Kurt Russell.

The announcement about the Hollywood icon taking on a role in a new holiday comedy came to light in March.

This legendary figure from Hollywood, who rose to fame as one of the top action stars in the 1980s, appeared almost unrecognizable in his new role as Santa Claus.

Adam Shankman is at the helm of the Amazon MGM Studios movie, working from a screenplay by Allan Rice.

The storyline goes like this: When Santa's enchanted bag goes missing, he looks to his list of naughty kids to recruit Vance, a reformed thief, to assist him in recovering it.

Together with his daughter, Santa, and a band of mismatched elves, Vance must execute the most ambitious heist of his life to rescue Christmas.

This will be the first occasion that Arnie has taken part in a holiday film since Jingle All The Way back in 1996.

This will mark his first film appearance in any capacity since 2019's Terminator: Dark Fate.

He filmed Kung Fury 2 that year, but it hasn't come out yet because of legal problems.

He appeared in his documentary on Netflix last year.

The three-part documentary explored the diverse life and career of Schwarzenegger, showcasing his journey from a champion bodybuilder to a Hollywood legend and eventually a politician.

Arnie portrayed the main character in the Terminator series but revealed last year that he was finished with making those films.

He believes that the next generation of the series should be handed over to different actors, according to Maria Shriver's ex.

At that moment, the actor shared with The Hollywood Reporter, "The franchise isn't finished, but I'm finished."

It was evident to me that people are eager to explore new directions for 'The Terminator' franchise. There’s a need for someone to generate a fresh and exciting concept.

Schwarzenegger is most recognized for his performances in numerous action movies, particularly The Terminator, as well as his previous career as a bodybuilder, which he showcased in 1976.

Arnie shared that he will forever cherish the joyful moments from the franchise that made him a true main character.

He has kids with Shriver, except for Joseph, whose mother is Mildred Patricia Baena, his former housekeeper.
