Arnold Schwarzenegger has admitted to a previous rivalry with another actor known for action films.

The man who was once the governor of California, and is now in his seventies, made an appearance on the "Graham Norton Show" last Friday. During his interview, he confessed that he and Sylvester Stallone used to be fierce competitors in the world of movies. However, they eventually turned into great friends and have maintained a wonderful relationship ever since.

On the program, the star of "Terminator" stated that they were opponents in the film industry and that they competed to an extraordinary extent.

According to Schwarzenegger, each of us had to strive to attain the most superior physique, excel in portraying more acts of violence in our movies, and possess the largest firearms possible.

"It became uncontrollable and we made efforts to undermine one another," he further stated.

After we both put our money into Planet Hollywood, we began traveling together across the globe to advertise it, and we developed an amazing friendship.

Both Stallone and Schwarzenegger achieved success and wealth in the entertainment industry during the 1970s, where Schwarzenegger made a significant entry in 1970 with the film "Hercules in New York," while Stallone's breakthrough came in the form of the award-winning "Rocky" in 1976.

Alongside their collaboration in Planet Hollywood, these two action stars eventually became co-stars in various films such as "Escape Plan" and the "Expendables" series, in which they shared equal credit.

In the current year, Netflix has produced documentaries about two popular Hollywood stars, Schwarzenegger and Stallone. The documentary titled "Arnold" was released in June, and the one on "Sly" is scheduled to be released next month.
