Argentina manager Lionel Scaloni decided to switch up nine players in the starting line-up since they had already secured their spot in the knockout rounds. This led to Enzo being one of those players who was moved to the bench.

Despite this, the Chelsea midfielder managed to leave a mark when he entered the game in the last 30 minutes, assisting in Lautaro Martinez's second goal towards the end of the match.

After winning all three matches, Argentina is at the top of Group A. This means they could face Moises Caicedo and Kendry Paez from the Blues team in the quarter-finals on Thursday night. If Ecuador manages to secure second place in their group by defeating Mexico tonight.
