The PA news agency has learned that the West Yorkshire club did not want to agree to the terms of the offer for the England Under-21 player and will only agree to sell on their own conditions.

Gray was a key player for Leeds last season as they aimed to make a quick comeback to the Premier League. Unfortunately, their hopes were dashed as they suffered a 1-0 loss to Southampton in the Championship play-off final at Wembley.

Gray, a player who played in midfield as well as right back last season, may leave Elland Road this summer as there are teams in the Premier League interested in signing him.

According to reports, Chelsea and Tottenham are both interested in signing Gray, who recently agreed to a new contract that will keep him at his current club for an extended period of time.

Leeds are feeling the heat to sell a player for a good amount of money in order to meet financial fair play regulations since they didn't make it back to the top division.

Gray, who started playing in the senior level during a match against Cardiff in August and has participated in 44 league games, is considered one of the club's top players.

Dutch player Crysencio Summerville and Italian player Wilfried Gnonto are two valuable players on the team who may be transferred.
