Anthony Joshua revealed his talent for freestyle rapping whilst being interviewed by Louis Theroux on Tuesday afternoon.

The ex-champion of the world in boxing, who won two times, had a conversation with the person who makes documentaries in the famous gym located in the north of London which was significant in shaping his early career.

After Theroux inquired about his passion for music and his post-fight performance in 2019, Joshua took some time to contemplate on his professional journey and exhibited his ability to rap spontaneously.

After taking revenge for his previous defeat to Andy Ruiz, Joshua marked his triumph with a party thrown by JD Sports, during which he shared the microphone with rapper Headie One and celebrated his victory.

So, Theroux was aware that he had experience speaking on the microphone, and asked AJ about the lyrics he had prepared during their interview. Joshua answered by saying that he preferred to freestyle.

AJ suddenly began to rap and recited these lyrics: "Louis and I were in the kitchen, enjoying our beverage of coffee and tea. In the past, I used to be rich and extravagant, driving around in a Range Rover and living a lavish lifestyle."

Joshua added, "My team and I are always prepared and remain alert. We're always ready to act with precision. I loaded my weapon and my finger remains ready on the trigger."

The ex-champion who had won the heavyweight title twice before couldn't control his laughter after singing for only 15 seconds. However, Theroux took over and continued rapping.

I'm here with my partner, AJ, having a lot of fun by asking some questions. Soon, we'll enter the ring, so keep an eye on me as I'm quite agile.

I am capable of delivering a powerful blow with my left hand and my right hand. I can take you down easily and consistently throughout the night, leaving you on the ground with no chance of getting up. Rest assured, you will not be able to stand on your own two feet after I am done with you.

in the gym where he previously trained. The fighter, who has won two titles in different weight classes, interrupted his training to make an unexpected visit to the gym where he used to work out.

AJ's show wasn't his debut or finale, as there will be more opportunities to witness him showcasing his singing skills. Notably, he delivered a remarkable rendition of 21 Seconds with So Solid Crew to a full house at a nightclub in 2020.

The English heavyweight, who was getting ready for a match against Kubrat Pulev at the moment, got caught on camera at Garage Nation - and amazed the full audience by spitting bars along to the previous top-charting song in the UK.

Joshua performed alongside Lisa Maffia, who is renowned as the primary female member of So Solid Crew, and delivered a unique and distinctive performance for the numerous audience members present at the event.

The place that arranged the occasion shared their excitement on Twitter about Joshua's surprising appearance and praised his performance as 'one of the greatest highlights in the history of Garage Nation'.
