Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner spotted partying with FISHER in Ibiza

The Deputy Prime Minister of the UK, Angela Rayner, was seen dancing behind the DJ booth with Australian artist FISHER at Hï Ibiza, a popular nightclub on the island, earlier this week.

In online videos, the deputy to the Labour leader was shown excitedly dancing with her hands in the air to a remix of Gotye's popular song ‘Somebody That I Used to Know’ by FISHER.

The actress and singer Denise van Outen shared a video on Instagram Thursday night. Denise, who has recently started DJing, captioned the video: "A spontaneous dance party in the DJ booth with Angela Rayner."

The blog post also shared a video of TSHA performing at the Theatre room inside Hï Ibiza on Wednesday night (August 28) during FISHER's ongoing residency.

Some of the other artists who have performed this summer are DJ Boring, Sally C, Fatboy Slim, Franky Rizardo, Honeyluv, Kitty Amor, Solardo, and Syreeta, just to name a few.

Rayner has previously mentioned her passion for dance music on multiple occasions. During the Edinburgh Fringe Festival last year, she shared with comedian Matt Forde that she had recently come back from another fun-filled vacation in Spain.

"I was dancing with girls who are much younger than me, and I thought to myself, 'I feel so old,'" she explained in an interview with Sky News. "But I was actually proud of that. I began dancing at 4:00 PM and didn't get home until 6:00 AM when the sun was already up."

Rayner was asked if she used chemicals to enhance her experience, to which she responded that she didn't need any. She explained that it's important to connect with the music and vibes, staying present in the moment, letting it guide you.

She has also tried her hand at DJing before, taking to the turntables at a charity event at Manchester's Depot Mayfield warehouse in December 2022. The politician played the 1995 dance hit ‘Set You Free’ by N-Trance to a crowd of more than 100 partygoers.

The Deputy PM will probably take a break over the weekend before heading back to work on Monday when the House of Commons recess finishes.

We have all experienced that situation.
