Andy Murray won on his 37th birthday in Bordeaux after his competitor withdrew in the second set, marking his return from an injury.

The person from Scotland was in the lead against Kyrian Jacquet, who is currently ranked 219th in the world, with a score of 7-5 and 2-0 in the match. However, the French player had to withdraw from the game.

Murray participated in a match for the first time after injuring his left ankle tendons during the Miami Open in March. This injury raised concerns about his ability to compete in the French Open and possibly even Wimbledon, especially since this is his last season.

However, Murray made a speedier recovery than anticipated and made his comeback at the Challenger tournament to gain more experience playing on clay before Roland Garros.

The athlete who has won three major tennis tournaments did not appear to be in any pain as he attained his initial victory on a clay court in over 12 months, even though it may have been quicker than he desired.

The second-ranked tennis player from Britain, Dan Evans, was also participating in a competition in Bordeaux with the goal of regaining his form after encountering challenges in the past few months. Evans defeated Hugo Grenier from France with a 6-4 6-4 score.

Aryna Sabalenka, who is ranked second in the world, achieved a spot in the semi-finals of the Italian Open held in Rome by winning the match against Jelena Ostapenko 6-2 6-4.

The upcoming opponent for her is the in-form American, Danielle Collins, who is currently in her final season. Collins triumphed over Victoria Azarenka, who was not performing well, with a score of 6-4 6-3.

In the men's category, Alexander Zverev from Germany, who was ranked third, bounced back after experiencing a brutal tumble that caused him abrasions on his hands and elbow. He won against the American tennis player Taylor Fritz, with a score of 6-4 and 6-3.

Alejandro Tabilo from Chile has made it to his first semi-final in the Masters tournament without losing any sets. He achieved this after defeating China's Zhang Zhizhen with a score of 6-3 and 6-4.
