'We were raped and strangled by Andrew Tate'
Three women from the United Kingdom have come forward claiming that they were sexually assaulted by the Tate brothers. These allegations surfaced as more accusations against the siblings, who are currently under house arrest in Romania, come to light.
Two women spoke to the BBC and said that Andrew Tate, 37, sexually assaulted them. One of the women said that she was choked until she lost consciousness, and when she woke up, she saw him still engaging in sexual activity with her.
Another woman has claimed that Tristan Tate, who is 36 years old, raped her and also held her by the throat during the assault.
The social media stars were taken into custody in Romania the previous month, charged with offenses against 35 females, which supposedly included engaging in sexual activities with a 15-year-old teenager.
Currently confined to their homes, the duo is being accused of engaging in human trafficking, specifically involving minors. Additionally, they are facing charges of having sexual relations with a minor, participating in organized crime, laundering money, and tampering with witness statements.
Two females shared with the BBC that Andrew Tate, aged 37, sexually assaulted them. One said she was choked unconscious and later woke up to find him still engaging in sexual activity with her.
Andrew and Tristan Tate are being accused of participating in human trafficking, specifically involving minors. Other charges they are facing include engaging in sexual activity with a minor, organizing a criminal group, laundering money, and tampering with statements.
The accusations of wrongdoing span from 2014 to 2024. The Tates claim they are innocent of all the accusations made against them.
In the UK, several women have also stepped forward and claimed that both brothers have committed violent sexual assaults.
A legal decision will be made on October 7 regarding whether or not the brothers are guilty of tax evasion in the UK. This follows a case brought by Devon and Cornwall Police, alleging that they did not pay taxes on £12 billion of income.
Two women who are not connected to the Romania case spoke to the BBC and provided specific details about rape and sexual violence.
A woman named Anna shared that she went on multiple dates with a man who claimed to hate women, Andrew Tate, in Luton back in 2013. Afterwards, she went to his home.
She said they kissed, before Tate said to her: 'I'm considering whether or not I should violate you.'
She claims that he forcefully pushed her onto his bed, choked her tightly, and sexually assaulted her.
She mentioned that Tate sent her a bunch of upsetting messages later on, asking her: 'Am I wicked? Because the more you disapproved, the more I relished it.'
Anna explained that Tate had been sending her numerous unsettling messages following the incident of sexual assault.
Three females talked to the BBC - two claimed they were sexually assaulted by Andrew, who is 37 years old, and one by Tristan, who is 36 years old.
Afterwards, he allegedly sent her a text saying: 'I enjoy forcing myself on you.'
And observing you allow me while still pondering whether it's a wise decision or not.
I admire the tension present in your work. It is evident and cannot be ignored.
Anna went to the police in 2014 to report that she had been raped. Two other women had also come forward separately with similar accusations.
A document was eventually submitted to the CPS in 2019, but no legal actions were taken because there was not enough proof.
Hertfordshire Police and the CPS have been reached out to for their input.
Another woman, identified as Sienna, mentioned that she encountered Andrew Tate in 2014, once again in Luton.
She talked about having a couple drinks and then going back to Tate's place for a typical one-night fling.
However, a few months after their initial encounter, she encountered him once more. This time, she claimed that he assaulted her aggressively.
Anna shared that after seeing Tate, she went home and immediately burst into tears.
The siblings are dealing with several accusations in Romania, and a UK civil court is set to make a decision on claims of tax avoidance in October.
Sienna told the BBC that things were going well with her and Tate at first, but then he unexpectedly started choking her during sex.
She talked about how she was finding it hard to breathe and was trying to catch her breath as she fought, before passing out. When she woke up, she said Tate was still having intercourse with her.
She expressed: 'I was so scared. I could barely breathe... It was sexual assault.'
The next morning, Sienna noticed that one of her eyes was completely red from being strangled. A friend of hers confirmed this with the BBC, as they had seen the injury and heard about the incident when it happened.
She chose not to inform the authorities about what happened, but now wishes she had.
Neither of the Tate brothers have admitted to any of the accusations made against them.
Andrew Tate has stated that he has never choked a woman during sexual intercourse.
He has faced global criticism for openly declaring his hatred towards women, a behavior that experts believe is having a negative impact on the mindset of young males.
A representative from the police department in Hertfordshire stated that they have looked into accusations made by three women.
At first, we made an arrest on July 18, 2015, in connection with an accusation of assault against female 1.
While the suspect was already in jail, he was arrested again on the same day for allegations of rape and assault against female 2. Later, on December 17, 2015, he was arrested once more for suspicion of raping female 3.
This case was difficult and intricate, requiring thorough investigation by specially trained officers from the police force's Sexual Offences Investigation Team (SOIT). Throughout the investigation, the officers consulted with the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) for guidance.
The investigation was completed in late 2019 after sending the case file to the CPS, which decided not to pursue charges. Everyone involved in the case was then given an update on the outcome.
In situations that are complicated, it is standard for officers to stay in touch with colleagues from the CPS during the investigation. This helps ensure that a thorough and comprehensive case file is provided to them for review.
