Andrew Tate, aged 37, and Tristan, aged 35, were taken into custody on Monday in Bucharest after the Bedfordshire Police stated that they had secured a warrant for their arrest.

The judge has decided that the siblings can only be extradited once their individual trial in Romania for the crime of human trafficking has been completed.

They have been set free from detention.

Andrew Tate made a statement outside of the courthouse saying that they are completely innocent. He mentioned that he is looking forward to completing the legal proceedings and proving their innocence to everyone.

The siblings, who completely deny any wrongdoing, are subject to legal restrictions in Romania that prohibit them from leaving the country.

On Tuesday, the two brothers were apprehended and brought to trial in Bucharest upon the issuance of arrest warrants by the UK authorities.

Prior to the approval of extradition by the Appeal Court in Bucharest, the police in Bedfordshire verified that they had acquired a warrant for the arrest of two males who are in their thirties, in relation to an inquiry regarding accusations of rape and trafficking in humans.

The statement released by the authority acknowledges that the subject matter may cause significant emotional discomfort, and individuals may experience adverse effects from exposure to media coverage.

The lawyers representing the brothers claim that the accusations go back to the period between 2012 and 2015.

After being set free, lawyer Eugen Vidineac expressed gratitude for the Bucharest Court of Appeal's ruling to delay the extradition process for Andrew and Tristan Tate.

The judgment offers a chance for the siblings to be fully involved in defending themselves and for the legal system to proceed openly.

The Romanian government is looking into three different accusations against the brothers: rape, human trafficking, and creating a criminal organization. However, the brothers have stated that they did not commit any of these crimes.

The brothers got apprehended by Romanian officials during December 2022 and were kept confined to their house in Voluntari, which lies on the outskirts of Bucharest. Although they were freed from house arrest in August of the previous year, they were disallowed from departing Romania.

The individuals are being charged with taking advantage of women through a venture involving mature subject matter. The prosecutors claim that the venture was run as a criminal organization.

Mr Tate has stated multiple times that Romanian prosecutors do not possess any proof against him, and there exists a plot to keep him quiet.

During a speech on Monday, Mr. Vidineac stated that our customers are strongly determined to engage in the legal procedure and safeguard their standing.

There is a rumour going around that we think came from an influencer on the internet. They didn't understand a text message from our clients while they were live streaming. That's what we think happened."

It is completely false.
