The court in Romania has decided that Andrew Tate, an influencer with a reputation for causing controversy, and his brother Tristan may be sent to the UK for trial.

Andrew Tate, who is 37 years old, and Tristan, aged 35, were taken into custody on Monday in Bucharest after the Bedfordshire Police reported that they had secured an arrest warrant.

According to a judge's decision, the brothers will only be extradited after they have completed their individual trial in Romania on charges of human trafficking.

They are no longer in police custody.

Andrew Tate stated outside the court that he and his companions are completely innocent. He added that eventually, everyone will realize their innocence. They're looking forward to ending this legal procedure and proving their innocence.

The siblings, who firmly deny all accusations, will stay under legal restrictions in Romania that forbid them from leaving the nation.

Bedfordshire Police revealed that they had obtained an arrest warrant for two men aged in their thirties in connection with an investigation into accusations of human trafficking and rape, prior to the decision by the Court of Appeal in Bucharest to grant their extradition.

The statement released by the force acknowledged the upsetting nature of the topic at hand and recognized that individuals may be negatively affected by the coverage in the media.

The lawyers representing the brothers have stated that the accusations stem from a period stretching from 2012 to 2015.

After being released, one of the lawyers representing Andrew and Tristan Tate, named Eugen Vidineac, expressed gratitude towards the Bucharest Court of Appeal's ruling to delay their extradition.

This decision allows the siblings to take part completely in their own protection and for the lawful procedure to move forward in an open way.

The government in Romania is currently looking into some serious allegations against two brothers, including rape, human trafficking, and being involved in a gang of criminals. However, the brothers have stated that they did not commit any of these crimes.

During December of 2022, the siblings were detained by Romanian officials and later given house arrest in Voluntari, a neighborhood located outside of Bucharest. Their home confinement came to an end in August of the following year; however, they were forbidden from departing the country.

They have been charged with using a business that provides adult content to take advantage of women. Prosecutors claim that this business functioned as an unlawful organization.

Mr. Tate keeps insisting that there is a plot to quiet him down and Romanian prosecutors cannot provide any proof against him.

On Monday, Mr. Vidineac expressed that our clients are deeply determined to take an active part in the legal procedure and safeguard their image.
