Claudia Winkleman announced that it was time for the audience to pay attention to the rules and regulations. A noteworthy member of the Strictly fam was present to read them out.

. She had surgery to remove her breast after finding a bump on her body earlier this year.

We were really longing to see her again and feel happy that she is now in a condition to return to us tonight.

Amy from Caerphilly, who manages a dance studio in Cradley located in Dudley, was warmly welcomed by the audience and performers while wearing a sparkling white dress. They joyfully cheered for her with a loud and proud "Amy!" chant.

Afterwards, Amy went through the guidelines for the show to make sure that everyone knows how to vote properly. She also had a brief discussion with Claudia Winkleman regarding her health and the treatment she's receiving.

She mentioned that she was doing great and had already completed more than half of her treatment.

"I am eagerly looking forward to reuniting with all of you on a more permanent basis."

The dancer was glad to be back on the much-loved BBC show, as she had been diagnosed with breast cancer after discovering a lump on her breast just before leaving for the Maldives with her colleague and spouse, Ben Jones.

According to her, on noticing that the bump had increased in size following her vacation, she consulted her general practitioner before being promptly referred for urgent medical attention.

In May, she discovered she had breast cancer in its third stage and had to undergo a mastectomy. However, during her treatment, it was discovered in June that she had developed more tumours and a different type of cancer. Consequently, she was unable to participate in the present season of Strictly Come Dancing.

In August, she was hospitalized due to sepsis, and according to her Instagram post, she experienced intensive care after receiving her initial dose of chemotherapy.

She stated: "I experienced a setback in my cancer treatment not too long ago and had to stay in the hospital for a while and get assistance from an ICU team."

Although she has been sick and undergoing treatment, Amy still manages to run the Art in Motion Dance Academy located in Cradley. During an interview with rower Erin Kennedy, Amy expressed gratitude towards her dancing community for their unwavering support.

She expressed that they are all a united family and she will be leading them. There are a multitude of ways to participate in the show and she remains optimistic.
