On Thursday morning, a video was shared on social media featuring three men removing a Palestinian flag from a residential building located somewhere in the city.
Two men in tracksuits hoist the third man up so he can take down whatever is stuck in the window, while someone in the background is cheering them on.
At some point on the day prior to the match, another video surfaced that depicted men being assaulted and pursued at a tram station. Sky News has pinpointed the location of this footage to the downtown area.
One man seems to be dressed in a classic keffiyeh scarf and is visible as he pursues several other men.
A voice can be heard yelling "Forget Israel" in English, followed by a woman who exclaims, "Hey, cut it out!"
The video was posted with a Hebrew caption that said: "See and enjoy as 6 Zionists are driven away. Support a free Palestine."
Video taken from the stands at the Cruyff Arena reveals Israeli fans declining to participate in a moment of silence for the victims of Valencia's recent flooding before the match started at 9pm local time (8pm UK). In the background, chanting is audible.
