Amanda Abbington ‘requests Strictly Come Dancing rehearsal footage’ amid legal advice

According to a report, Amanda Abbington has supposedly asked for videos of her rehearsals during her stint on Strictly Come Dancing. This request comes amidst rumours that there is a conflict between her and her former dance partner Giovanni Pernice.
The artist, famous for her performances in Sherlock, participated in the latest instalment of BBC's famous celebrity dance contest.

The two were first linked in early 2018 and were often seen together in public. However, it is now believed that their busy schedules ultimately led to the demise of their relationship. While the news may come as a disappointment to fans of the couple, both Pernice and Abbington have yet to comment on the reports. Nonetheless, we wish them both the best moving forward.
Last Saturday (Jan 6th), The Sun wrote an article stating that Abbington (who is 51 years old) supposedly requested videos of herself and Pernice practicing together, likely because she is seeking legal counsel.
According to an informant, the BBC has been asked to provide Amanda and Giovanni's recorded material. The request made is called a data subject access request.
There is a sense that the recordings will reveal the reality of what occurs backstage on Strictly.
A supposed insider from the set said that the environment during practices can be quite stressful. They went on to say that the Italian ballroom specialist, Pernice, is a meticulous individual who can become really intense.
The Independent attempted to contact Amanda Abbington and Giovanni Pernice's representatives for a statement. However, the BBC refused to offer any comment when requested.
Amanda Abbington was recently asked if she would consider being a part of the TV show 'Strictly Come Dancing', to which she replied that it’s not something she is interested in doing at the moment. She explained that she has a lot of projects on the go, and doesn't think she could commit to the time and the training required for the show. She did express admiration for those who do take part though, and wished them all the best of luck.
When Abbington initially discussed her departure from Strictly in October, her supporters observed that she omitted Pernice's name in her note.

Abbington expressed her regret for leaving the Strictly show on Instagram. She stated that her decision to leave wasn't an easy one and was made due to personal reasons that prevent her from continuing.
Working with my fellow contestants was a pure delight. They are a splendid bunch of individuals - dedicated, skilled, and attractive - whom I adore and will certainly miss seeing every Friday and Saturday. Competing alongside them was an experience I truly treasured.
She proceeded to express her gratitude towards the production crew and "all the wonderful individuals on Strictly who took care of me and demonstrated such remarkable generosity and compassion."
Pernice, who has been a part of the programme as a dancer since 2015, expressed his support for the actor on Instagram. He conveyed that it saddened him that they won't be able to continue their journey together, however, he is content with the progress they made. Pernice also sent his best wishes and love to Amanda.
Abbington and Pernice received a score of 31 out of 40 for a sprightly foxtrot in their last performance on the show.
Abbington was absent from the live final of Strictly in December unlike the other eliminated participants who made an appearance. Nigel Harman had to drop out of the show prior to semifinals due to an injury.
