Amanda Abbington won't be back for the conclusion of Strictly Come Dancing due to reported conflicts and disagreements with her dance instructor, Giovani Pernice.
They say that these disagreements made Amanda quit the show. The people in charge of the show were hoping that she would come back for the final episode.
According to reports, the production crew expressed their interest in demonstrating a cordial relationship between the British star and her colleagues on the program, despite speculations about conflicts occurring behind the scenes.
No Amanda Abbington For Strictly Finale Due To Conflicts
According to someone familiar with the production, there have been many inquiries regarding Amanda's unexpected exit.
It has been a challenge, particularly for Giovanni, who feels distressed about others perceiving it as a mark on his reputation.
Even though they had disagreements, he truly desires for her to succeed and be happy.
In an interview with the Mirror, the insider also mentioned that they aimed to portray Amanda as continuing to be a crucial member of the Strictly community. However, Amanda declined the invitation and won't be returning.
"It's really unfortunate that her departure has become a negative aspect of the series this year."
Amanda Abbington left Strictly Come Dancing during the fifth week of the show that airs on BBC. She explained that her departure was due to medical reasons.
Initially, she had planned to make a comeback the following week. However, she subsequently declared that she wouldn't be participating in the competition on the show anymore.
She shared on Instagram that it was really sad for her to leave Strictly. It was not an effortless decision for her to make as it was because of something personal that she needed to stop.
I truly enjoyed collaborating with my co-contestants. They are all wonderful individuals who possess exceptional skills and put in a lot of effort into their work. I have grown fond of them and will miss spending time with them during our regular Friday and Saturday competitions.
She expressed gratitude towards the crew responsible for the making of Strictly, as well as any other individuals involved, referring to them as an "amazing group of individuals".
The outcome episode of Strictly Come Dancing will be broadcast on Sunday the 12th of November, commencing at 7:20pm on BBC One.
