Alien Romulus has just been released on digital services such as Amazon Prime Video and AppleTV+, following its theatrical release two months ago. If you're planning an Alien movie marathon, keep reading to learn how to catch Alien Romulus before Halloween rolls around.

This sci-fi thriller marks the ninth entry in the Alien series and follows up on the 2017 film Alien: Covenant. According to the summary, a crew of young space colonizers encounters a horrifying life form while exploring the depths of an abandoned space station. The cast includes Cailee Spaeny, David Jonsson, Archie Renaux, Isabela Merced, Spike Fearn, and Aileen Wu.

Director Fede Álvarez shared with IndieWire that "Romulus" pays homage to the works of Ridley Scott and James Cameron while also breaking away from them. He stated, “Ultimately, I want it to be seen as a sort of rebellious offspring of those original films. It’s like you bear some resemblance to your parents, but you strive to carve out your own identity. That captures the essence of what this film is all about.”

"Alien: Romulus" performed exceptionally well at the box office, raking in $349 million globally, with $105 million coming from domestic sales, as reported by Box Office Mojo. This positions "Romulus" as the second highest-grossing film in the series (not adjusted for inflation), following "Prometheus" from 2012. Furthermore, it has become the highest-grossing horror film ever released in IMAX in terms of worldwide earnings.

Audiences are loving the horror thriller, with critics rating it at 80% and viewers giving it an even higher score of 85% on Rotten Tomatoes. Keep reading to find out how you can watch Alien: Romulus digitally and when it is expected to be available on Disney+ and Hulu.
