Alan Halsall, known from "I’m a Celebrity," has had some rumors swirling around regarding his past relationship with a fellow soap opera star. She has now come forward to clarify the situation.

Halsall, known for his role as Tyrone Dobbs in the ITV show Coronation Street, stepped into the jungle for the 2024 season on Sunday, November 16th.

He was set to participate in the show in 2023, but had to withdraw because of a leg injury. This year, he became part of a lineup featuring McFly's Danny Jones, former X Factor judge Tulisa, and Coleen Rooney.

As the latest season of the show approached, many articles appeared discussing Halsall and his ex-wife, Lucy-Jo Hudson, who is also his former co-star from Corrie. One unverified story even suggested that she would support Halsall by voting for him to face the show's challenging tasks.

Halsall, who became a part of Coronation Street in 1998, began a romantic relationship with Hudson in 2005. The couple ended their marriage in 2018 after nearly nine years together. They share a daughter named Sienna, who is now 11 years old. In 2020, Hudson welcomed a son named Carter with her current partner, Lewis Devine.

Just before the new season of I’m a Celebrity kicked off, Hudson, known for her role as Katy Harris in Coronation Street, posted a video on Instagram to clarify that there were no hard feelings between her and Halsall. She added the caption: “I just wanted to set the record straight.”

Hudson shared with her followers: "To start off, my ex and I have been divorced for seven years now. I honestly find it hard to believe that it's still a subject people talk about, as it seems rather dull."

"Sienna spends equal time with both of us, and we keep the lines of communication open. She's a joyful child, and we have a wonderful relationship. When it comes to weekends, we coordinate our schedules, making sure to accommodate each other's preferences for certain days. It's crucial for Sienna that we stay in touch and organize our plans together. We aim to ensure she doesn't miss out on experiences, so we're flexible and adjust our arrangements for one another."

The ex-Wild at Heart star added, “Also, Lewis and I will be sitting down with Sienna to watch the jungle show. We truly wish him all the best.”

"We will be by Sienna's side, providing support as she navigates this experience. It's true that she will miss her dad, who is always present in her life, making this situation feel quite unusual for her. While he may hold a different significance for others, to Sienna, he is simply her dad, and we are here to help her through it."
