The Scarface actor, who is 83 years old, had a rough introduction when he went on stage at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. He attempted to make a strange joke about reading Shakespeare before presenting the last award of the evening.

He exclaimed, "Oh my goodness! What an incredible feeling, thank you so much! My dear friends, I am truly grateful for this recognition. I am tempted to recite a line from Shakespeare, but I think I'll pass for now. Without further ado, it is my utmost pleasure to announce that we have reached the end of the awards ceremony and it is my privilege to bestow the final award."

Pacino won an award for his performance in the movie "Scent of a Woman" in 1992. During the ceremony, he did not acknowledge the other nominees. Instead, he stated that only one film would win the award for best picture. He then proceeded to open the envelope and announce the winner as Oppenheimer, expressing his pleasure at the result.

At the 96th Academy Awards, Oppenheimer was named Best Picture in a quick announcement made by the presenters. This prestigious award is a significant achievement for the film.

People using social media were unable to understand the mistake, stating that it was incredibly disordered and bewildering.

The individual did a terrible job! They didn't even provide an introduction of the nominees, according to another comment.

One out of every three individuals stated that the situation was uncomfortable, whereas a quarter of them noted: "He appeared fatigued, after all he's already 83 years old."

There were other movies in the same category that got nominated, such as American Fiction, Anatomy of a Fall, Barbie, The Holdovers, Killers of the Flower Moon, Maestro, Past Lives, Poor Things, and The Zone of Interest.

Oppenheimer came out on top during the night by receiving seven out of the thirteen nominations that were available.

Another major success of the evening was Poor Things, as it managed to secure four accolades. One of the awards was Actress In A Leading Role, which was presented to Emma Stone.
