Saudi League: Al Nassr beats Al Ittihad, Al Tai and Abha relegated

Al Hilal has clinched the league title a few rounds ago and now has a total of 96 points securing their top ranking spot. Meanwhile, Al Wehda has maintained their thirteenth position with 36 points.

Al Hilal secured the lead with a goal by Mohammed Kanno in the 19th minute. However, Al Wehda managed to even out the score with Yahya Al-Najei's goal in the 77th minute. The second half saw no further goals until the second minute of added time, when Aleksandar Mitrovic scored Al Hilal's second goal, ultimately securing their victory.

In a different game during the identical round, Al Ittihad's chance of getting into the Asian tournaments for next year were crushed because they lost to the home team Al Nassr with a score of 4-2.

Al Ittihad stayed in fifth place with a total of 54 points, allowing Al Taawoun to claim the fourth place position and earn a spot in the AFC Champions League next season. Meanwhile, Al Nassr has accumulated 82 points, securing their hold on second place.

In the additional time of the first half, Cristiano Ronaldo scored the initial goal for Al Nassr, and later, he scored the second goal in the 69th minute.

During the 79th minute, Abdulrahman Ghareeb managed to score Al Nassr's third goal from a penalty shot. However, Farha Al-Shamrani and Fabinho of Al Ittihad scored a goal each during the 88th minute and second minute of stoppage time during the second half. Al Nassr wasn't done yet, as Mashari Al-Namer scored Al Nassr's fourth goal during the fifth minute of stoppage time in the second half.

In the last game of the season, both Al Tai and Abha faced defeat, resulting in their relegation from the league. Al Hazm had already been relegated earlier on. Al Tai was defeated by Al Okhdoud, who was also fighting for survival in the league, by a score of 2-0. As a result, Al Tai ended up second to last in the table, with only 31 points, while Al Okhdoud moved up to fifteenth place with 33 points. Abha, on the other hand, lost to Al Hazm with a score of 2-1, which meant that they would finish the season in sixteenth place with 32 points.

In additional games, Al Ahli emerged victorious over Al Fayha with a score of 1-0. Al Shabab beat Al Fateh by a close margin of 3-2. Al Taawoun managed to secure a win against Al Ettifaq with a score of 1-0, while Al Riyadh gained a victory of 2-1 over Al Khaleej. However, there was a draw between Damac and Al Raed with a final score of 1-1.
