Al-Nassr emerges as champions of the Saudi Women's Premier League for the 2023/2024 season.

By defeating their opponents Al Hilal, the current champions have guaranteed that the trophy will remain in Riyadh for the second season of the Saudi Women's Premier League.

The current champions of Saudi Arabia's top women's football competition, Al-Nassr, have proven that they are the leading team this year. Despite facing opposition from Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad at the beginning of the league, Lina Boussaha and her teammates successfully defended their title in the city of Riyadh.

The newly improved Al-Ittihad seemed like the team to beat in the upcoming 2023/2024 season, as they had strengthened their squad by adding players from other countries, such as Ashleigh Plumptre and Salma Amani. Nevertheless, during the season, Al-Nassr's team showed to be more effective by using a mix of foreign players and talented Saudi national team members.

Al-Hilal, who came in second place last season, were ready to take on the competition again this year. The other teams in the league include Al-Shabab, Eastern Flames, Al-Riyadh, Al-Qadisiyah, and Al-Ahli, for a total of eight teams.

30 minutes into the game, Mavis Owusu, who is from Ghana and plays as a striker, scored a goal for Al Hilal. This helped to decrease the gap between the two teams and kept Al Hilal in the game.

During the latter part of the game, the team playing at home kept their grasp on the match proceedings, as Mbaraka Al-Sayari, a football player hailing from Saudi Arabia, scored the third goal. Shortly after, Lina Boussaha, a midfield player possessing both French and Algerian origins, added the fourth goal by hitting a free kick.

During the second half, Shokhan Salehi, the Iraqi striker for Al Hilal, managed to score their second goal. However, this alone was not sufficient for them to secure a victory.

Al-Nassr has widened the lead between them and their opponent by 14 points, securing the championship title for the second year running with only three rounds left to play this season. Their current point tally is 31.

Al Hilal dropped down to the fourth spot in the rankings, as their point total decreased to 16.
