Kathryn Hahn, who plays the role of Agatha in "Agatha All Along," reveals quite a bit in the opening scenes of her new spin-off series from WandaVision. She also provided some details on how Marvel's first female bare backside scene came to be.

The 51-year-old portrays Agatha Harkness, the witch, in the new Disney Plus series. At the conclusion of WandaVision, Agatha finds herself imprisoned, but in the first episode's beginning, she awakens once again in the neighborhood that served as the backdrop for much of the original series.

She steps outside into the streets, seeking explanations for what’s happening – completely exposed.

Hahn expressed to Variety, "I believed it was beneficial to portray her in a raw state, both physically and emotionally, as it highlighted her sense of vulnerability in that moment."

"At this stage in the series, Agatha has lost all her strength. She’s left with nothing, which highlights the journey of her reclaiming her power later on."

Showrunner Jac Schaeffer shared insights on how the Emmy-nominated actress conceived the idea for the nude scene.

In the screenplay, the concept was for her to come out of the spell without any clothes on, as it embodies a witch-like essence. This transformation signifies that she's shedding all her overly dramatic personas, revealing the true Agatha, Schaeffer explained to TV Line.

"In the original version of the script, the character understands her surroundings and then puts on a robe before heading outside. However, Kathryn approached me and said, 'Would Agatha really stop to grab a robe? I think she would just go out there without anything on.'"

“Kathryn was really enthusiastic about it, so I brought the idea to Kevin [Feige, the head of Marvel Studios], and his response was mostly one of surprise, like, ‘Seriously?!’”

The nine-episode series marks Marvel's first release since Echo in January. Early reviews of the first four episodes are overwhelmingly positive, with many describing it as "flawless" and "captivating."

The show's title has undergone multiple changes, with earlier names such as House of Harkness, Darkhold Diaries, and Coven of Chaos. It was believed that the mix-up over the titles was deliberate, as the playful final title suggests. This was reported by Variety several months prior to the official announcement.
