Adele's future plans after playing final Las Vegas show

Adele has shared her thoughts on what her life will be like now that her celebrated Las Vegas residency has come to an end.

The artist behind the song "Someone Like You," who is 36 years old, kicked off her residency titled Weekends With Adele at Caesars Palace in November 2022. She celebrated her 100th performance this past Saturday.

In July, the singer from London, who now lives in Los Angeles, announced that she will be stepping away from music for an extended period following her current series of performances.

When the awaited moment arrived, Adele became quite emotional and confessed to the audience that she had no specific arrangements for the occasion, as reported by The Sun. She stated, “I'm not planning anything else."

"I'm just figuring things out as I go along. I really don't have any concrete plans."

She remarked, “I suppose I'll just drink during the day.”

Adele recently responded to rumors about her potentially retiring by stating that she wasn't certain when she would release new songs or go on tour again.

She expressed, "I'm not sure when I'll want to perform next. I think it's time for a change."

“It’s time to turn the page and embrace a new season in my life.”

In this upcoming phase of her life, she'll be spending meaningful moments with those she cares about, such as her fiancé Rich Paul, who is a sports agent, and her 12-year-old son Angelo, from her previous marriage to Simon Konecki.

Regarding her only son, she shared, "I decided to take on a residency because I really can't stand touring. I wanted to make sure his life remained as stable and normal as possible."

"I went through with that. However, I wouldn't trade that experience for anything."

"But I get to spend time with him on the weekends now since, of course, you can't be here all the time."

Adele elaborated on her goals for the residency, which has supposedly earned her around £100 million from ticket sales and merchandise. She wanted to "rediscover her passion for performing" after feeling overwhelmed by her previous stadium tour.

"It took me quite a while to fully understand it," she explained.

Including: "This seemed just right and serves as the concluding part of this narrative."
