Holly Ramsay has revealed her engagement to Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty.

Gordon Ramsay's 24-year-old daughter shared the news in a post on social media.

"I’m tying the knot with my closest friend," she shared on Instagram, posting pictures of the two of them and showing off her engagement ring.

I’m finding it hard to express my emotions at this moment... Thank you for making the little girl within me feel valued, recognized, and more joyful than ever. I love you, and I’m so excited to become your wife.

She mentioned that she will always support former Strictly Come Dancing contestant Peaty and his son George.

"Life feels so much brighter with you around. Since you've come into my life, everything has improved. Cheers to a lifetime together," she said.

Peaty expressed that he felt like the "luckiest person in the world" and later shared the news of his engagement on his Instagram account.

"I can hardly believe that you’ll soon be my wife," he wrote.

I feel incredibly fortunate to have such a kind, loving, and beautiful partner in my life. You bring so much joy to my heart and calm to my spirit.

He mentioned that Ramsay had been there for him during his toughest times and played a crucial role in helping him gain insight into himself and find his way through his struggles.

"You've shared in the numerous joyful moments, and for the first time ever, I'm truly content with the person I've become," he expressed.

"You accompanied me to church and became a part of our amazing community without hesitation."

The 29-year-old athlete shared, "From the very beginning, witnessing the affection you have for the most significant person in my life, George, made it clear to me that you were meant to be my wife one day."

"I eagerly anticipate our journey together and the various obstacles we'll encounter along the way. I vow to love you deeply and wholeheartedly, always."

Ramsay and Peaty shared excerpts from the Bible, and the swimmer further disclosed in another Instagram story that he had collaborated with a jeweler for ten months to create the ring.

Peaty, who was unable to compete in the 2022 World Aquatics Championships due to a foot injury sustained in an unusual training accident, has openly discussed his downward emotional spiral following the 2022 Commonwealth Games. This struggle ultimately prompted him to step away from competitive swimming for a while.

The athlete, who has won gold medals at the Olympics three times, took home a silver medal during the Paris Games this summer.

He ended his relationship with his girlfriend, who had been with him for three years and is the mother of his child, in August 2022.

The former Strictly contestant participated in the 19th season of the BBC One dance program in 2021. They made it to week seven, ultimately securing ninth place alongside his professional partner Katya Jones.
