Although the actress from Pitch Perfect has achieved great fame in Hollywood, she admitted during her appearance on The One Show that her mother was initially disappointed with her decision to pursue a career in acting instead of taking over the family business.
Wilson talked about her book, Rebel Rising, and expressed her desire for a possible fourth movie in the Pitch Perfect series.

Wilson, a notable performer from Australia, has appeared in blockbuster movies such as Pitch Perfect, Bridesmaids, and Bachelorette. Nevertheless, during an appearance on The One Show, she revealed that her mother envisioned a distinct career path for her.

According to her, she was registered for drama classes by her mother due to her shyness, but her mother didn't expect her to become a popular actress and comedian.
Wilson shared that his experience in drama classes helped him to communicate better and form meaningful relationships with other teenagers. Although his mother initially had dreams of him becoming a professional dog shower due to their family's background in showcasing the British breed Beagles, she ultimately saw the value in helping him find his passion and connect with others through drama classes.
The second aspiration she had for me was to pursue a career in law. Unfortunately, I failed to meet her expectation, which led to her disappointment.
The famous actress from Pitch Perfect shared her desire for a potential fourth movie.
She stated, "My family follows traditional and conventional values, so they were not pleased to see me on television using foul language, sporting bizarre attire or wearing revealing clothes." Nevertheless, she indicated, "My mother eventually altered her viewpoint once I began acting in Hollywood movies. Now, she even attends the premieres and has the opportunity to meet renowned actors such as Brad Pitt."
Wilson's mother was a huge admirer of the Pitch Perfect movies and even participated in a week-long a cappella training camp with the cast to prepare for the musical scenes.
Wilson sparked the optimism of fans for the possibility of the fourth installation of Pitch Perfect, as she expressed her desire to have it through a statement: "I am hopeful that it will happen. The project is currently being developed by Universal, and we all have a great camaraderie among the cast, having worked together in three successful movies. We all share the same eagerness to continue the franchise. Fingers crossed."
