Real snatch stunning win over Bayern to reach final

Real Madrid

Joselu managed to score two goals right after he joined the game as a substitute in the 81st minute.

Real Madrid achieved a remarkable semi-final win by scoring two goals in the final minutes to beat Bayern Munich, paving their way to face Borussia Dortmund in the finals of the Champions League.

Bayern appeared to be on their way to the final as Alphonso Davies maneuvered and fired the ball into the net, making it past the goalkeeper Andriy Lunin, following a great pass from the England captain, Harry Kane.

Joselu scored a goal at the 88th minute, evening the score after Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, who had been performing well throughout the match, fumbled Vinicius Jr's attempt and Joselu quickly took advantage of the opportunity.

More excitement occurred just two minutes later when Joselu, a previous player of Stoke City, scored a goal from six yards out after receiving a pass from Antonio Rudiger.

At first, the objective was deemed to be offside, but after a ruling by the video assistant referee (VAR), it was found that Joselu was actually onside. This revelation caused an amazing outburst of jubilation in the Bernabeu stadium as Real fought hard to maintain their lead and ultimately won the game with a 4-3 aggregate score.

The team that has won the European championship an impressive 14 times will be up against Dortmund on Saturday, the 1st of June, at Wembley.

Injury time during the second half of the game witnessed a contentious moment at the 13th minute. Matthijs de Ligt of Bayern appeared to have led the game to an extension.

Noussair Mazraoui received the ball and the assistant referee signaled offside, causing several Real defenders to pause before De Ligt from Bayern scored a goal.

Television playbacks indicated that the initial verdict could have been erroneous, and if the flag had not been lifted, it would have required the assistance of VAR. Bayern manager Thomas Tuchel and several players, including Kane and fellow Briton Eric Dier, vehemently objected to the verdict.

Bellingham Ecstatic, Kane And Dier Devastated

Jude Bellingham, a midfielder from England, had a remarkable debut season at the Bernabeu and is now set to compete against his former team, Dortmund, in the London final.

In June 2023, Bellingham departed the German squad for Real in a massive £88.5m transaction. He now has the opportunity to achieve a two-fold victory, as he previously aided Real in securing a La Liga triumph.

During an interview with TNT Sports, Bellingham expressed his disbelief about the match at Wembley against Dortmund. He described it as a strange and surreal experience. Bellingham recalled his childhood dreams of playing in big games like this one while growing up in Birmingham at the age of seven.

Although Bellingham's dream was fulfilled, Kane and Dier, England players, were left heartbroken.

After transferring from Tottenham for a whopping £86m last summer, Kane managed to score an impressive 44 goals for Bayern. Sadly, this defeat brought an end to his dream of claiming his first significant title thus far.

Kane and Dier both participated in the 2019 Champions League final, where Tottenham was defeated by Liverpool with a score of 2-0.

During the initial stage of the match between Bayern and Madrid, Kane had managed to score a goal, putting his team in the lead with a score of 2-1. However, Vinicius Jr also scored his second goal, tying the game with a score of 2-2 after the match had begun in Germany.

In an excellent atmosphere at Bernabeu, the second leg match took place. The home team had a promising start and nearly scored, thanks to Neuer's amazing double save. He first pushed Vinicius Jr's attempt against the post and then stopped Rodrygo's follow-up effort.

Vinicius Jr proved to be a persistent danger for Real Madrid on their left flank, but unfortunately he was denied by Neuer's outstanding saves on two occasions.

However, Bayern managed to score a goal in the 68th minute, even though it was unexpected and not in line with how the game had been going.

From the center of the field, Kane made an amazing pass to Davies who was standing on the left side. Davies, who is from Canada, quickly started running towards Rudiger. He then switched the ball to his right foot and shot an exceptional goal which appeared to make them the winners.

Manager Tuchel, who will depart from Bayern at the conclusion of the season, substituted Kane with just five minutes remaining in the match. Shortly after, Joselu's efforts resulted in Real gaining the upper hand in the game.

The forward seized an unusual mistake from Neuer and subsequently netted another goal just three minutes later, leading to Real's stunning triumph.

The actual manager, Carlo Ancelotti, who has obtained his sixth final in the Champions League as a boss, stated that he intends to "have a good time this week".

"My team is amazing. I appreciate them so much," Ancelotti expressed. "They put in a lot of effort and I believe this is the top group of players that I have ever coached."
