Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have given their backing to the Princess of Wales following news of her cancer diagnosis. The couple released a brief statement showing their solidarity with her.

The statement expressed the desire for Kate and her family to recover from their health issues and find tranquility in doing so without interference from others.

This news surfaced only a few hours later after the Princess of Wales disclosed her cancer diagnosis in a statement on Friday at six in the evening.

Kate's statement reveals that in January, she had a significant surgery on her abdomen in London, and the initial diagnosis indicated that her condition was not cancerous. The procedure went well, but subsequent tests showed the presence of cancer.

So, my doctors suggested that I should take preventive chemotherapy and I have already started getting the treatment.

It's been a while since the two couples were last spotted publicly together. The last time they were seen was after the tragic passing of Queen Elizabeth in September 2022.

Buckingham Palace reported that King Charles and Queen Camilla expressed how proud they were of the Princess of Wales for her brave speech.

The announcement also stated that the king, who himself received a cancer diagnosis in February, is staying in constant communication with his dear daughter-in-law.

In February, the King disclosed that he had cancer, and Prince Harry made his way from Los Angeles to have a conversation with his father.

It is not known whether Harry and Ms. Markle have communicated with Kate or William after making their announcement.

The two pairs of individuals haven't made any public appearances together ever since the passing away of Queen Elizabeth in September 2022. They were previously known as the "Fab Four".

Following Prince Harry's visit to the UK in February to visit his father, a source within the royal family claimed that the two brothers had no intention of meeting up.

Leaders and politicians from various countries are quickly sending messages of encouragement to the Princess of Wales.

The princess is receiving chemotherapy treatment and Prime Minister Rishi Sunak conveyed that the entire population is backing her up.

Justin Trudeau, the leader of Canada, expressed his sympathy towards the Princess of Wales after receiving the news.

On X, Mr. Trudeau posted a message on his former Twitter account expressing his concern for Princess of Wales, her children, and the entire Royal Family after learning about her courageous revelation of her battle with cancer.

As a representative of the Canadian people, I extend my backing to her during this time of treatment. Our entire nation hopes for her speedy recuperation.
