Peter Freeman has been granted an extension of two more years in his current position.

The person in charge of the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities has chosen to extend Peter Freeman's time as the Chair of Homes England for an additional two years, starting from October 23, 2023, and ending on October 22, 2025.

"Homes England's primary focus is to accelerate the delivery of affordable homes, and we are committed to working collaboratively with local authorities and housing associations to achieve this aim." Peter Denton, CEO of Homes England, emphasized that their utmost priority is to speed up the construction of affordable housing. To reach this objective, they are looking forward to cooperating with both local councils and housing associations.
