Cameron Diaz welcomes baby boy named Cardinal at age 51

Cameron Diaz talks about how she has changed her focus on what is important in her life.

Cameron Diaz, the actress, and her partner, Benji Madden, who is a musician, have expressed their thankfulness and happiness after welcoming a baby boy into their family. Their son's name is Cardinal Madden. They feel very fortunate and appreciative.

On Friday, the couple used Instagram to share news of their son's birth. They both posted about it.

"He's fantastic, and everyone is delighted that he's arrived! To safeguard the children's well-being and confidentiality, we won't be uploading any photos," stated the post caption, which also mentioned that Cardinal is "truly adorable."

The post expressed a feeling of gratitude and blessings and contained an image with a phrase that read, "I was informed by a little bird."

Diaz and Madden utilized Instagram to declare the arrival of their little girl, Raddix, in the year 2020. At that point, they disclosed that they had no intentions of sharing additional pictures or information to shield their family's seclusion.

In 2022, Diaz explained to CBS News that she temporarily stopped pursuing acting in order to prioritize other endeavors. However, her main goal was to relish in the joys of motherhood with her two-year-old daughter. Diaz acknowledged that becoming a parent has significantly altered her perspective on life, and delights in witnessing her child's novel experiences which she can relate to from her own earlier years.

Diaz mentioned that every mother experiences a particular moment when they observe their child performing a new activity and they suddenly recollect doing the same thing in the past. According to Diaz, this moment is quite fascinating.

Diaz, known for directing movies like "There's Something About Mary" and "Charlie's Angels," tied the knot with Madden, who is a part of the musical group Good Charlotte, at the start of 2015.
