Arne Slot is a Dutch football coach who is currently the head coach of AZ Alkmaar. He was born on August 17, 1978, in Oosterhout, Netherlands.

Slot started his coaching career with the youth team of NAC Breda and later became the head coach of the club. He also coached several other Dutch clubs including Willem II and SC Cambuur. In 2019, he was appointed as the head coach of AZ Alkmaar after the departure of John van den Brom. Under his leadership, the team has been performing exceptionally well in the Dutch Eredivisie.
